Project dogmat ?

Someone randomly recommended it on Twitter to me and I was curious to see if anyone here had heard of it before now?

The idea is that they shouldn't be able to do anything, since it is a different IP. Kinda like that game... Dark

Have been following for a while the website, was only in russian at the beginning. I _gather_ they're using what was meant to be the WoD O engine... I think.

I've been following DogMat for awhile now, they're using the Unity Engine to create a new VtM style IP, CCP can't touch em. Check out their site or Facebook, they showed a beautifully dark and creepy street environment that makes Bloodlines look so old. Bad news is that content is coming out very slowly that it will still be several years until we have something playable. It's good to see someone working on something though.

Can someone explain to me how can the CCCP not touch them and what is that non mentionable thing? Pictures please. Only thing I'm sure from the pages is that they need Eliza.

Why ? They didn't touch the Secret World, or Vlad the Impaler, or any other great vampire-stuff out there :3

Simple. It's not WOD so they don't have the copyrights. It's vampire-related game, similar, but not the same. Just like they didn't do anything against DARK

You can copyright the World of Darkness but you can't copyright vampires. Dogmat will be fine.
