If their Kickstarter is successful, the funding will expedite the development process 10-fold. Here's hoping it does!

Wow, I rushed with posting my already closed thread and didn't notice this one. Project Dogmat looks really good, and I really hope that it won't end up like CCP, but that simply can't happen. Only big players treat players like walking wallets. I have faith in this project maybe even too much faith. But hey, I've been waiting few years for WoD MMORPG, and after its downfall and CCP ruining Project Vaulderie, this game is the only hope for this genre.

So it has to be brought down too, to protect the Masquerade... First Tradition and stuff, you know. Sorry.

Not cool!    CCP won't touch this one. They have literally nothing on Project Dogmat, otherwise they would shut them already.

Who said anything about CCP closing it down? Ventrue has other tools available, some less easily tracked back to him. Like the Lasombra.

Btw. how do you like these 4 Sabbaths in Project Dogmat? I will be choosing between CRUOR Corp. and The Aristocracy of Domini.

I'll be choosing in between killing you right away and torturing you first.

The Aristocracy of Domini - Basically a mix of Torries with a hint of Ventrue as far as I'm concerned. The most likely of any pre-existing faction I would go for because I dislike the alternatives too much.

The Hort Packs - Sabbatferatu in essence. Too Sabbat for my liking.

The CRUOR Corps - Ventrue/Tremere. Far FAR too unstable to work as far as I'm concerned; there is way too much backstabbing, zero safety nets, zero loyalty and too high risk of everything you've worked for being taken away at a moment's notice for the slightest of missteps. This is the least likely I will consider.

The Orthodox Theocracy - Might make an alt for it, but will not join it with any initial chars and my personal opinion is based on how I consider religion to be detrimental to humanity at this point in time. In other words, unless I RP; the chances of me joining it are very slim. That said, I sometimes enjoy playing religious characters, so chances look decent I will make an alt for it. I do like their fashion style, what little I've seen.

Independent/Unaligned - Not technically a faction I know. Sufficed to say though, depending on characters (presuming I play, which I do intend if it is released in a timeframe where I can afford spending the time and effort) this may well be how I end up in the short run as I don't feel particularly drawn to any faction of note. It may also be a period of "selection" where I weigh pros and cons of any of them and consider them against one another until a decision is made.

Oh, 2017 to 2018, perhaps. They will try to keep people's expectations for as long as possible, so the dissapointment will reach extreme levels when they cancel it.
