Hello all. New to this Forum. Couple Questions

I just downloaded VTMB from D2D and want to try Camarilla Edition 1.3. How do I do this? I don't wants the Clan Quest thing. Do I need to install 1.1,1.2, then 1.3 or can I just do the 1.3 and how? Thanks SO much!

WOW, really quick response time. Thank you for that. Now, do I just place this in the same folder or do I need to change files and all of that?

You only need to "install" the mod wherever you installed the game, it'll remplace automaticly the files that are changed by the mod

Ok, I FINALLY gots me wifi connection to connect long enough to download both the original game from d2d and the 1.3 patch. What do I do now? How will I know if I installed it correctly?

If everyting went right, and you downloaded the most recent patched version, you should find CE 1.3.01 in the top left corner of your character editor.

No such luck.I downloaded and installed the original game. Downloaded the 1.3 patch from the link provided by edoardo17 in the 2nd post. The VTMB Camarilla Edition 1.3.exe file says it installs successfully but nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Now I have C:\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - Bloodlines
and C:\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - The Masquerade - Bloodlines

Ya that helps alot. What you want to do is, run CE 1.3 and when the path screen comes up you will notice you can manually type the path in. Type this in...

C:\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - The Masquerade - Bloodlines

That will redirect the installer to install to \Vampire - The Masquerade - Bloodlines instead of the retail version which is the default location \Vampire - Bloodlines.

After it installs, open up the game and you should have new music, new main menu, and the top left of the character sheet during character creation will say CE 1.3.01.

Awww man thats really nice of you to ask, but actually I'm the only one developing The Final Nights right now and I'm happy (and unhappy) to say that I got a fulltime job last week. I start my new IT job this Monday so I won't have as much time to work on TFN, good news is my wife and I will get to keep our home and money won't be a problem anymore!

I might have actually taken you up on your offer a few weeks ago when I ran out of sound effects for the new disciplines. Fortunately with the use of bit torrents and other (less than honest) means I managed to scrap up a few more to finish the disciplines. Finding good sound effects is tough honestly and I figure pirating software for a project thats FREE of charge shouldn't really be considered stealing. Now if I were selling TFN that would be a problem, but since the overhaul will be free I doubt it's a big deal if I "burrow" a few sound bytes.

Thanks again though and HAVE FUN playing CE, it's come a long way over the past 10 months.
