Fallout 4, has anyone played it yet? Your thoughts?

The alien spacecraft one fit in the game well I thought. The Pittsburgh one did too except why was I going all the way to Pittsburgh? The Virtual Reality one where I fight against China in Alaska was interesting but very linear. I didn't really like being inside a simulator while playing a game. It was just too deep and all I could think of was getting back to the game but I couldn't until it was over.

Yeah. The videos still showcase how the game has changed compared to it's predecessors. It's telling how the things he lists as advantages are things I care less than the things he lists as disadvantages.

From what I gather Fallout 4 is not a roleplaying game. It's a shooter with stats. I know people who would argue that was true already for Fallout 3, but it's even more true for the sequel.

Seems like it; Fallout 3 is obviously an FPS-styled game, but it has enough RPG elements in it to call it a first-person RPG a lá S.T.A.L.K.E.R. only lighter and softer.
