I agree with most of what you wrote. Allah having more and more followers only means his PR department works better than that of atheism....
But what in socialists leaving more and heavier taxes on white working class surprises you? They need money to buy votes of the lazy people, white as well as others.
Prayer is not about comfort... We ask for strength, inspiration and perseverance. To punish those who harm us, among other things. Religion teaches us that without order, societies fall, without punishments for wrongdoing there cannot be order... It is sad our current Pontiff teaches as if he never read the Scripture, he might have learned something about responsibility for one's actions if he did.
