I'm sorry to hear you were treated like a number, Rudest. I hope you weren't at the receiving end of any "Full Metal Jacket-type" stuff going on there. The Army was still that way by the time my dad was finished in '82.

Acknowledging isn't being negative, most negative bunch of people I met were at a conference I attended where a group refused to adapt to their respective conditions. Instead of finding new things to do they sat around bitching like it was going out of fashion! Some of it seemed so trivial it was like visiting one of those care homes where they get a room full of elderly talking about the old days and how 'young whippersnappers don't know respect' (Including one woman who loudly proclaimed her supermarket discriminated against her because they MUST have moved all the decent food and products to the top shelves after she ended up in a wheelchair and they OBVIOUSLY were singling her out!)

I've actually found I've returned to a lot of things that I used to enjoy and excel at when I was younger. Not the full contact sports, clearly, but the writing and drawing side of things. Coupling it up with programming as well this time though

Also ended up taking wargaming back up but don't always have time and energy to build and paint everything.

Thanks for the greetings, z.o.o. And I do believe in the trinity, but to be honest, my Baptist affiliation is actually with the Southern Baptists. And I find routines tend to improve my grades, so I will endeavor to maintain them.

And I support positive attitudes.

I wonder if this thread should be stickied? It seems to be along running one, and a good reference to get to know the people fo the board!

I'm moving around and sorting garbage for a living, and when I've time left to kill I burn it

Great view, well just outside my window 10 meters away there is a smokin chimney more like those big towers at the power-station (joke) and every time is winter/cold season and window is open I'm about to die choking in death, if I have a knife I could cut a circle in the air just like in the cartoons.

Awesome. So you're saying the festival had someone roaming around in an official capacity testing everyone's breath and whoever was found keeping a blood alcohol level which was too low, was then kicked out?
