i repeat myself, in the game hints in the load screens it does say that malkavians are prone to homicidal rages, and what is frenzy but that? you wouldn't have to change much, just intorduce a likelihood to frenzy based upon a level of dementate, a new trigger, besides those already existent. It says, some Malks turn homiciadal, not necessarily all of them. And as stated by Feral, it could lead to you losing the game without any chance of avoiding it. I don't think, frenzying Malks on some random basis is a good idea. Perhaps randomly shooting about with Hysteria. Or perhaps a penalty on persuasion, so you have to rely more on dementation in the dialogues. - Quote :

how about instead of random whispers when you initiate insight, you get voices whispering the quest log, so that it works like when the malkavian character activates insight his voices whisper unto him what he should do next? insight is supposed to provide well insight. guidance. Do you have the time and equipment necessary to make sound files of all the quest log entries? I don't. Sorry for being this blunt here, but it's just the way it is. -

- Actually, it happened again. Something in the game or the UP must cause a Hunter appearance with a Humanity of 3, even with no Masquerade violations. Furthermore, the game does not appear to allow you to go below 3 Humanity. Further furthermore, my 3 Humanity character has not Frenzied once.

Further furthermore, my 3 Humanity character has not Frenzied once. Indeed, the lowest humanity possible is 3. When i played as a low humanity malkavian, i was surprised i could do anything i wanted without caring about lowering humanity or frenzing. I played the entire game and only frenzied once, because of a special dialogue option in the second White Cloud quest. You get frenzy and drain the blood of the guy entirely, but only if you have a low humanity this option will apear.

| Munster, about the hunter, I'll check if I accidentally have activated the harder option. I had tried some different versions for making the hunters more aggressive. to you and the Philosopher, I have made the same experience. Sometimes I frenzy due to heavy damage. But even starving doesn't frenzy you that fast (at least not with a Malk). I usually try to keep my bloodpool at least about half full, and humanity at 6 to 8. So I really don't have to worry about frenzying or not frenzying. The only time I had to get my characters frenzy was in the Beta testing for 1.2. With a Brujah or Gangryl oh the last drop of blood, and running around in front of the Asylum, I got the frenzy rather fast. For humanity: The game is set so that even murder won't get you below 3. Most dialogue related humanity losses are capped at 3 as well. Because of this, I made the lowest limit at 3, so forgetting to set the limit in a dialogue file can't let you drop below for lesser crimes like stealing. On the other hand I introduced some new humanity losses in the dialogues, that occur only to high humanity characters for minor offences. - | |

| casting hysteria around seems fit enough, getting fits when he starts spreading his madness around, infecting others with his high enough madness.
and i had figured it might be too complicated to install my idea for the insight whispers. i just thought it was too good not to let it drop without consideration.

| Casting hysteria manually is what I frequently do with my Malks. Every time they see a uniform, they get the unescapable urge to have them laughing. - | |

| I Like all the ideas of how to make the malk more "insane" But its obvisous that it will be too hard to make it happend .. unfortunately... I love play Malk,, the most awesome clan ever! And if its possible to make slightly improvements on malk's i will be more than happy I Dont have anything els to say, im drunk and just read the thread, but i know that the "Kindred" in this community is doing alot to make this game better! I love you guys! (Sorry, im drunk) uh uh uh btw.. (It's beside the subject) .. How about, when jack says "forget the books and the movies" When introducing the fledgling to the world of darkness, he then says "Especially Twillight" (And some foul language about how much twillight sucks" ... I know it would be alot of work, but then again, TWILLIGHT SUCKS!!! Maybe it's just me who hates twillight.... But if it's possible, i would be happy as a Malkavian seeing dinosaurs in the museum!! | |

| Hi! Get a voice actor, and we all will be happy to add a comment of Jack's how much Twilight sucks Well, for the Malk seeing dinoaaurs, if I still were on the modding table right now, the Malk certainly would take the raptor home for the next version of CE. But I'm sorry to say ti this blunt: I'm off the game right now, and I'm not sure when I will return to the game. And even then, I don't know if I will create a new version of CE. - | |

| childe of malkav, instead of having to do it manually, you could have it happen automatically... now, THAT would be fun... i know you are off the game, but that seems to be the perfect way to go about the topic of the game, have malkavians "automatically" casting hysteria on uniforms.... and why stop at cops? the security at Empira Arms Hotel is just begging for having that happen. hell, even the receptionist there is asking for that to happen - no wait oops you need to enter dialogue with that one... same with chunk... ah well. one can always dream... or make it manually, like you do. another idea is to have that same compulsion with bums. god knows they need a little laughter in their lives, they are so dour.... or particularly foxy ladies... ooh i could go on... | |

| I'm sort of against the ones where I'm the center of attention. If it's someone else... meh. Perhaps that's selfish, but... No, I'm okay with that. | |
