Ishtarri Male Set

This next set was a joint effort between Aqui and myself. He reskinned Tier 1, 2, and 4, and I reskinned Tier 3 and added the normal mapping effects. Obviously you can't see the interactive lighting in the still pictures but in game they render beautifully.

As with the Female Ishtarri, the male also wears extravagant colors and makeup based on African culture. All the more enticing to their victims to gather close and once again showing off their gluttonous vanity.


First Closeup, you can see the dark tinted red makeup this self indulgent Kindred wears.


Side Closeup, I ended up putting subtle highlights in his hair to mirror that of the female Ishtarri.


Tier 1: Aqui did a fantastic job reskinning the shirt and pants, I love the fun animal design.


Tier 1: Normal Mapping was added to the pants to give it a nice effect near the pant legs.


Tier 1: Hard to see here, but Aqui put in subtle tiger strips near the bottom of the pants that I added normal mapping to.


Tier 2: This reskin is just fabulous! The white tiger strips under the red forest animal shirt just did it for me.


Tier 2: I even added normal mapping to the neck jewelry.


Tier 3: I reskinned this Tier... I hope it fits into Aqui's theme. I figured the Tier 3 Female got Leopard skin, so why not our male friend.


Tier 3: His leather pants normal mapped extremely well, it looks so cool in the game when you're walking.


Tier 4: All the reason to buy Tier 4 armor, this set is by far my favorite. The tiger coat looks amazing in game.


Tier 4: We normal mapped the entire coat except for the tiger pattern because we wanted to keep that fuzzy. This skin is so majestic.

He's not from Africa, he's American... he was embraced by an Ishtarri (African), but he himself is not African. Many Ishtarri native to Africa are actually of European decent, as the Ishtarri clan is original not from Africa. But even if Ishtarri were African based, with dark skin, upon embracing a white American his skin wouldn't suddenly turn dark and get African features. In other words, being embraced by a black guy doesn't make you turn... black, lol.

He was embraced by the Ishtarri due to his beauty, and no other reason. The Ishtarri sire was obssessed with this white American for one reason or another, and thus was embraced. Same goes with the female Ishtarri, and the female Osebo. The fact that the Male Osebo is black was circumstantial.

Hot diggity damn', this guy is loud!

He will be a joy to look at while in-game. His color saturation dances the line between visual grief and radiance really well. He's wearing faux fur in tier 4, I'm guessing? It's almost glowing.

When I read about them I instantly thought, "Afrikaner."

"Hey Thijs, what's with all the make up and animal prints? Did you just join a Cinderella tribute band or somethin'?"

This one turned out really good! As with the female Ishtarri I like it better than the original Toreador

Eh, well... My monitor displays everything a wee bit bleaker than others, and considering I was aiming for a vivid outfit it might have turned out too bright

You did a great job with him Aqui! As like what z.o.o. said, he's a very LOUD character which is exactly what I envisioned when I read about the Ishtarri.

Oh, he's perfectly vivid and shows just enough restraint. You both hit dead center.
