Random thought..

I realise that this would be a lot of work but I was just wondering, considering that the samedi look like zombies and that our character is completely new to the vampire world, would he/she not perhaps think a zombie is one of his/her clan? I just get this image of the character trying to talk to a zombie, getting a response of 'brains' or something such before getting attacked. Of cause it'd take a bit of work to design if at all possible and it'd be a lot of work for a simple amusement but I thought I'd throw the idea out there anyway.

In theory vampires know a vampire when they see one. In pnp your supposed to make a check when meeting a vampire for the first time to keep your cool (Can't find it in the rulebook, but was one of the things an old storyteller and player would make rolls for) The beast within calls out to similar beasts I guess.

I think in some instances the Samedi are more decomposed than the zombies, perhaps you could ask them about their skincare regime
