William took a second device from a more secure part of his jacket and scrolled through it. "Let's see... I'm not sure that I was given Corinna's number, or the chantry number, if that room even has it's own phone... In worst case I can always try the hotel desk and ask around."

ST:

William grins at Theodore's comment about using his head. "If you wish, I could conjure horn growth follicles on your forehead so you can ram them onto the floor. Add a little of that potence of yours and even an enraged Grangel will feel it in the evening."

After a moment of letting the comment sink in, he pocketed the second device once more and took out his phone.

William makes a silent 'Yes! Victory!' motion with his right arm and begins talking to the person whom answered the call.
"Miss Anson? William here. You wouldn't happen to know which dimension Kersten disappeared to would you? My calls and messages aren't getting through at all and it is kind of urgent. Head of the clan with a capital P level of urgent if you understand what I mean."

"Ohh, we use OUR words on public telephone lines now? And ehh... popular? Either way, he isn't with his latest conquest since she's sitting right here, so if you happened to see 'R E G E N T' Kersten returning from his quest to rule the cyberworld, tell him that thing he and Lord Tarcisus wanted kind of ended up with a road block and we kind of need his input... Also, better check if the hotel doesn't have a Nosfaratu spy infestation, since they kind of seem to know things that they shouldn't, just to be sure you know... Just mentioning..."

Pressing the mute microphone button on his phone, the Tremere turned to the room. "Lyle has gone up in smoke and Corinna has her panties up in a bunch, along with Monsieur 'Non, leave! Euh Euh Euh.' this night is turning out to be awesome." he said with obvious sarcasm.

As William talks to Corinna about Kersten's latest 'conquest', Duncan smiles and looks at Estela, but doesn't comment about that.  However, the Brujah frowns at William's tone, especially in his comments to the room.  He addresses the Tremere neonate in a low voice, so that it's not picked up by his phone.

Chill, or you won't get any cooperation.

To the others, Duncan comments softly:  Mlle Anson did strike me as a bit condescending the other night, but perhaps she merely takes her duties as librarian - and as a Tremere - very seriously.

Duncan then directs his attention to Miriel's phone call, curious about whether the Toreador has reached her clan mate.

William stared neutrally at Duncan for a moment, then continues as if nothing happened.

"No, I think you misunderstood me Anson Solaris, it's not just the chantry lines, we've never discussed secret information over the telephone line..." William turned towards the walls and whispered into the phone with his hand covering the space between his microphone and mouth.

Auspex 1:

Straightening back up, he continued while he studied Fred. "And I'll soon be at the hotel myself, I'll consult with them then, unless either one of them is leaving soon of course."

Noticing that Miriel obviously got an answer on the other line of the phone, or was received by a very advanced answering machine, Estela puts her phone back in her pocket. As they all talk, the young vampire casually leans back against the pool table, observing the others around her. William and the words he uses on his phone obviously draw her attention, and as she turns slightly to look at him, she raises an eyebrow slowly. For a short moment, she glares, then the expression changes and a slight grin plays along her lips. She crosses her arms, and tilts her head a little before she gives her own little comment on that; “Me? His conquest? My, how uninformed you are. Honestly, is it that hard to see that it's the other way around?”
Her grin grows as she speaks, and she pulls out the keys of Claudia's vespa. “I suppose you'll be needing a ride towards the Hotel? Or were you planning on walking?”

Duncan also notes that Miriel obviously reached someone at Laure's number, and nods to himself.  However, when he sees Estela put her phone away without calling anyone, a puzzled frown appears on his face.

Did you decide not to call Claudia?  I was hoping to find out if she was still at that arcade, in case Miriel and I need to pick up a package we left with her.  Never mind; I guess I can call her when I get my phone back.  He glances at Miriel, and adds:  Whenever that is.

The young Brujah crosses his arms and twists his mouth into an exaggerated grimace, as he looks at Miriel and waits for her to finish.

While Miriel is on the phone with Laure, she keeps a finger plugged in her opposite ear to concentrate on the phone call, Yes, hello. This is Miriel.

She seems to think she'll have to clarify, but her expression states Laure knows exactly who is calling, Just calling to say I have something found that is intended for you. Whenever anyone motions to Miriel or otherwise mentions her, she gives a wave of her hand to indicate interruptions would not be appreciated at the moment, "shh!!" and plugs her ear again, The Theatre? Lovely. I'll be by fairly soon. Good bye.

She closes the phone and returns it to Duncan, who is pulling a face. She shrugs and brushes a strand of hair behind her ear; she's clearly not bothered, To the Theatre after we get the goods.

Fred turns his attention to Duncan and Miriel.

Oh, do you require me to guide you to the theatre? Or perhaps another task you find suiting for my abilities?
Ah! Perhaps collect the package and meet you at a location of your choosing?

Estela raises an eyebrow at Duncan's words directed at her. She looks at him briefly, then to Miriel who's still on the phone, then back at the Brujah. “Well, Miriel did say that I should call 'if she couldn't reach Laure'. Looks to me that she managed to reach her. I don't mind calling Clau for idle chitchat or anything, but that's something I'll do on my own time.”
The young vampire gives a small grin, then turns back to William, waiting for an answer from him.

William:

Theodore seems quite amused of the few interactions he hears and catches. Estela's words considering who is who's conquest seems to interest him quite a lot, as if something didn't fit his conception of (un)life.
(Theodore) I never imagined Kersten could get social and friendly enough. To approach a girl, that is.

The idea of a woman approaching and seducing a man doesn't seem to be something logical (let alone acceptable and current) to the Brujah's mind.

Duncan grins when Miriel waves off his comment with an impatient gesture, but he stops teasing her and waits for her to finish the call.  When she is done, he accepts his phone and nods in acknowledgment of her words.
Good.  I'll make sure Claudia is still with her, um, 'fan club'.

However, before he makes the call, Duncan listens to some of the talk going on around him.  He replies to Fred's offer with a smile.

Thank you for your offer, but I think we need to deliver this package personally.  It's... part of an agreement.  Besides, we'll all need to make a detour to clean up, so that we draw less attention.  It's probably better if we meet at the Theatre, or in the foyer of the Regent Grand Hotel.  Either way is good.

After Estela's comments, and Theodor's amused response, Duncan holds up the phone to show the young neonate.  That's okay, I'll call her.

As he dials, Duncan comments to Theo:  If anyone's being played, I doubt it's Kersten.  But hey, we all believe what we want to.

Theodore shrugs and smirks.
(Theodore) Tremere or not, boobs distract us all like !

Seduction works on Kindred too, at least he thinks so. He gives a glance at Miri then at Estela, with a semi-apologetic smile (but he's mostly enjoying the eye-candy, and he doesn't hide it).

Duncan smiles at Theodore's comment, but doesn't say anything.  It doesn't take long for his call to be answered, although it becomes obvious that Claudia isn't the one on the other end.

Hello.  This is Duncan; I was there earlier with some friends.  Is Claudia there?  If she's busy, I don't really need to talk to her; I just wondered if she would be there for a while, so we could pick up the item we left with her.

Perception+Empathy>4:

Good!  Yes, that would be perfect; if you could pass that message along to her, I'd appreciate it.  We should be there within the hour.  Thank you, Loic.

William pressed a button on his screen after Corinna hung up and turned to Estela with a toothy grin.

"Quite frankly, I'd highly doubt Regent Kersten would be seduced by anything other than his work and games, especially a Fledgling whom: A. Acts like a damsel in distress, Lyle wouldn't care, and B. Is afraid of feeding blood. He probably just didn't want you frenzy'ing in the middle of his domain, so he probably force fed you somehow and 'guided' you into meeting other people and places away from the hotel. Am I close?"

Pocketing his phone in his pocket, he once again leaned against the wall.

Duncan:

Theodore seems quite interested with Wiliam's analysis of Kersten's behavior, he even stands to approach a little. He sounds he's not convinced though.
