| So in some places I see to install TFN with no other mods or patches. But then I saw in a bug I was reading that maybe you should install the official patch? My game version is 1.0. Should I be patching to 1.2 before installing TFN? Might this explain why my game crashes if I go into frenzy? | |

| The Final Nights is built upon one of the Unofficial patches(6.5 I believe), and that patch included the fixes from Trokia's 1.2 patch. So after installing the game, you need only install TFN. | |

| Move it to Bug Reporting and add @Malkav Seriously, I have no idea. What version of Bloodlines do you have? Steam or retail? Have you tried to use an old savegame or more than one mod at a time? Where did you get your download from? And, finally, have you patched your game before installing TFN? If you are on Steam you must reinstall and turn the automatic updates off. If you answered any of the following questions "yes",you must reinstall as well. Procedure is simple: - install cleancopy of VtMB on your computer. (no patches, other mods...) - install TFN in the same directory wher your VtMB is. There is whole thread on your problem in Bug Reporting, actually. And, last but not least, welcome to the greatest forum of (Blood)suckers on the net , my dear Keeper. I hope you will have great time with us. | |

| This is on the same topic as my question, so I didn't feel the need of creating my own topic:
If I have the game with unofficial 7.8a installed, do I need to do a clean reinstall or can I simply install this on top of the unofficial patch?

| For tfn, you need a clean, patch less game. Tfn was built on a precedent unofficial patch version, so installing an "older version" over a "new" causes conflict (files do not merge)

| There is a ritual for that !! I mean, an app :-D I Poke in the forum from my iPhone ;-)
Yes I know, damn it, but zero made the mod a few months ago. If I was sure that the new up only changed the same files that Tfn changes, I'd say go for it. But the new up might change files that Tfn did not change, which would cause a conflict >_>
This needs a diagram >_>

| Ah yes, Philosopher. That is a great help. Even my diseased minds can't comprehend it. If you translate it into a text it would probably look like a cross between Kafka, Beckett (Samuel, not the Gangrel), and Marx - | |

I'd imagine there might be some things from the more recent UP updates that might get put into TFN(such as the dll fix that keeps some of the lights from showing through walls), but I doubt everything will be, since that might require some reworking more extensive than is wanted.

| I don't think that something will happen for TFN anytime soon. I haven't heard from Zer0 since he posted this announcement of the alleged Zer0 sighting at the deli. And I'm still convince, that was not Zer0, but the picture shows a quite ordinary Big Foot, with Zer0's face photochoped in. - | |

| Probably Don't know about Skyrim. But I have heard that Godot is due any minute now. And shortly after that, Antitribue will be released. - | |
