Engine error after character selection

Hi there,

I have installed VTMB and The Final Nights mod afterwards (no patches). Then I have clicked on New Game and went directly to character selection. Here, whichever character I choose (and assign free exp. points), the game crashes after starting the game. The crash box says:

Engine Error

no precache: models/character/npc/common/goth_kids/male/goth_male.mdl

Any idea how to solve this?

Sorry, but I have no idea what this error message is about.

I have reinstalled the game and now it works OK. Sorry for bothering, I should have done that before asking. But maybe if someone would encounter similar error - this helped me .

If you made sure that you have installed TFN to the same directory, that can't cause trouble.

What version of the original game do you have? Sometimes the download versions (steam, d2d) can cause problems. I have quoted part of Wesps readme for installation of the patch in the CE beta test section. Since the mod is based on wesps patch, the info might help you as well.
