| hello, I just installed vtmb again and I have been playing with the character skins.....but no matter what I do I can't get the male toreador skin to change! The brujah female accepted all the changes I made up to brand new eye color files I added to the game. But the front/back torso of toreador eludes me. I'm testing it on a copy that already has a camarilla edition on it but I made sure that the vtm files are pointing to armor0 files. What would you recommend? Here the front I'm testing with....its based off an earlier post here I didn't realize was so old but (shrugs) now I'm more interested in just getting it to do what I want lol. | |

I think the problem is that you edited the wrong texture. Technically, anyway. The texture you'll want to edit is 'maletorarmr0body'.

| Hm, the actual name of the tth and ttz files are not that important, as long as they both are there, and fit the model. The important thing to get the skin on the character is that the model path in clandoc is right, the vtm is in the location called by the model file. And of course it must point to your skin file. - | |

- True, as you could change the name of a texture, so long as you change the reference in the correct .vmt file(which are what the models really look for). Many of the player models have combined textures(which contain all the pieces to texture a model - usually except for the head and hair texture), and separate ones, which are single images for the Front and back of the torso, etc. Some of the models might still reference these textures, but one would have to check to be sure.
