| Same way as Oblivion. Ya'll have to sniff around for a vampire dungeon, enter it, let yourself be attacked (this time, by a certain Vampiric Drain spell or smthg), contract the disease then wait three days without curing it, and you'll become a vampz. | |

| Hmm....What is there to say...well, I really...
Yeah, I've got nothing. As much interest I can pour into a game, this sort of thing is beyond me.
Takes more than "Epic Journey" to get me. Namely since it always seems to involve broadswords, armor and a bunch of idiots who...ah, screw it. Where did I put that Katana?
Oh, crap. I can almost smell the burning torches and a mob with...*runs like hell*

Careful what you say 'bout the 'Rim, stranger... Typical. Respond with threats of violence, when the words where nothing more than errant thoughts. Disdainful as they may be, there is no call for violence here. Not to mention that my animosity, if not curiosity is due only to the fans - the game itself might be great. Though it is not my cup of sanguine spirits, and thus I will leave others to drink from that cup - rather than trying to waste it. On another note...three days? I would consider that annoying. Though likely done so players could have a choice, if they wanted to actually be a Vampire.

- What's even more annoying is that it's ridiculously easy to become a werewolf... Hell, there's even a ring that makes it more powerful. Vampires? Not so much from what I've read. I guess my Orc Warrior shall be a damned Moon-Beast... My Nord Thief, though, she'll be a Kind-er, I mean, Volkihar.
As unique as it may be(though it probably has been done before), and having a true plot/quest in the game that involves becoming a Vampire would be odd, since it depends on a few things, like how prevalent the Vampires are, how receptive they would be to making you a Vampire(three days or not), etc. Seems like a cheep method to me - though I could be completely wrong, and it is just as fleshed out as the rest of the game likely is. - Voraxith wrote:
- Too bad you won't appreciate this game. I can only imagine what Bloodlines would be like if the same engine was used. Ah...
Not...entirely true. From what I've seen, I wouldn't mind giving a Dark Elf a go, though the only real problem is that I don't have much of an interest in stories/games/movies, etc, that have this sort of setting(aside from a few exceptions), and I doubt that my PC could handle it, even if it might be made to play on some older PCs. Maybe if I threw some money into it, but again, I would be more likely to go for some other games, though this would be one I'd at least consider. And the idea of Bloodlines with such an engine, looking that good....it does have me salivating, but I can't say I feel anything like that video about it.

| Here's the specs of my new rig... AMD Phenom II X6 @ 3.2GHz (Hex Core) 8GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM DDR3 1600MHz Nvidia GTX 560Ti w/ 1GB GRAM (w/ latest drivers) 60GB SSD SATAII 750 Watt Modular Thermaltake PSU Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit It's a decent rig and I am playing Skyrim at 1680 x 1050 on Ultra settings but I'm dipping below 60 fps when I'm outside. So, until I can play Skyrim at 60+ fps everywhere I'm not going to play it. On another note however, can you imagine a World of Darkness game created by Bethesda with full modding tools using the new Creation Engine? Even when Bethesda completely fucks up the game it would still be modifiable so I could fix all the stupid ideas they implement and make it a killer vampire game. Only one can wish... | |

| Good to see you back, Zero Nice spec but I believe you mean 600GB not 60... right? Skyrim sounds overrated... get back to bloodlines! | |

| Thanks for the warm welcome Yami. And no my solid state drive is only 60GB in size. Solid State drives are REALLY small but super fast. They don't have any moving parts so there read/write capabilities are incredible. My computer boots up Windows 7 in approx. 10-12 seconds, it's halarious. PS: When are you going to get your avatar picture repaired? LOL @Claudia, What did you say honey? | |

Nice rig for email and web surfing, but I wouldn't play games on it. Just kidding; it's far better than mine, which is only 1.5 yrs old.
