Bilbo was captured too. Gandalf was the one who remained free, and kept the trolls arguing until sunrise.
Guess I should've said 'hobbits anddwarves', but I don't always bother with 100% accuracy on my jokes. Sort of like how Malkavians don't bother with 100% sanity.
PS Philosopher - He isn't a mage. He's a wizard. Which in Middle Earth, is sort of like an angel; he's there to guide and help, but not to do all of the work for you. And he doesn't stay there to hold your hand... he's got other $#!t to do.

I should seriously load that game up on an emulator. I haven't played Heroes of the Lance for NES since before I went to high school, and I'm 30. But I've been a Dragonlance fanboy for a LOT longer than I've been a VtM fanboy. A LOT LONGER. So totally Team Raistlin.

It's still in beta and pretty buggy, but once that all gets sorted out I'm definately going to be using it.

Once you get over that initial reflex it's actually a pretty good show. We are used to it that things that are made for children and especially things made for little girls are complete shit. But in this case the creators actually worked hard to create quality entertainment that could be enjoyed by all generations.

Unlike the previous MLP shows, the writer specifically wrote FIM in such a way that any viewer who isn't a little girl would not feel the urge to shoot themselves in the head.
