He's so predictable with his cookie addiction

I suspect your 'cunning Gangrel trap' consisted of putting a box out, and letting Feral hop into it himself.

Empty box = irresistible enticement to canines/felines. Even the bigger ones. Saw a picture on 'teh Interwebs' of a lion enjoying a nap in an empty cardboard box.
