I always feel confused when people talk about this crisis as something big or whatever.

Actually, I live right smack-dab in the middle of Lupine territory. The entire state of Idaho, according to the White Wolf wiki, is completely dominated by the werewolves. Us Licks are pretty rare out here. No, one reason and one reason alone I would assume Sabbat: Carnival!!!

Brazilian Vampires


THE PROBLEM:

In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, there are four times as many Malkavians as there are Tremere, and twice as many Tremere as there are Gangrels. There are 110 vampires in all. How many of each type of vampire reside in Rio?

THE SOLUTION:

The basic equation for this problem is the following:

Gangrels + Tremere + Malkavians = 110


All that remains is to set up equalities between the Gangrels, Tremere and Malkavians. It is given in the problem that there are twice as many Tremere as there are Gangrels, so for each Gangrel there must be two Tremere. It is also given that there are four times as many Malkavians as there are Tremere, so for every one Tremere, there are four Malkavians OR for every one Gangrel, there must be eight Malkavians.

Substituting these equalities back into the equation:

1G + 2G + 8G = 110
11G = 110
G = 10 (Gangrels)
2G = 20 (Tremere)
8G = 80 (Malkavians)


Brazilians might not know it, but they are host to 10 Gangrel vampires, 20 Tremeres, and 80 Malkavians.

I suppose if you have 20 Tremere bunched together, one of them is bound to have a ritual for that.

Let's just hope they don't count all the 80 Malks in one place. That would certainly amount to a critical mass of madness
