As i will buy a new mobile phone....

Finally after years of old school mobile phone i will buy a new one and hope that you can give me some advice if you have some knowledge as what to buy.

Apple vs HTC vs Samsung

I won't tell you which is in my favor so i won't get biased opinions..

If you need to know more things, like what i will use it for, ask me.

Apple is too expensive for what you get, HTC is somewhat the middle and Samsung.. well it got 4 cores and android

I'm on the same level as that mongrel.

I don't know much about these devices either, but in my case it's due to being old-fashioned. I require my phone to be able to make calls and send a text message and that's it. I don't care much for all that other stuff they throw in nowadays.

Well i think so, too. But my work requires mobile internet and all.. Till now i still used a really old one, which doesn't even have a colored display^^

And i know next to nothing bout mobiles, too. Thats why i asked here in hope for some advice

Yea^^ i grew up with computers and festival sound systems, not mobile phones like the new generation now.. Hell i see 6 year old girls wearing mini skirts looking all bitchy and always on their phone.. I still can't grasp how the world changed in 12 years..

Nah, seriously, I can't keep up at times too. And I am not too sure I want to. The world is not chenging in the best direction in my modest opinion. The 10 y. o. girls (and sometimes even boys) looking all pedophile-bait thing really gives me the creeps... Our culture went from values and morals to here and now hedonism. Well, Greeks and then Romans did the same...

I was born '84. I don't remember much from that time. Other than juice and cartoons , that is

I was born in the 80's too, and my parents were teens in the 80's, so seeing how they turned up truly explains how off those days were. Now it's all clean and pretty in comparison

I do not like to badmouth the younger generation, although I do believe most kids have things too easy, compared to previous generations. We are not doing them any favors by making their lives so easy. We're raising future generations to be hedonists and whiners, who have no concept of personal honor or discipline.

Unfortunately, I blame my generation for this. I grew up during the 60's, when "Don't trust authority" and "Patriotism is propaganda" were phrases being spread by the growing liberal movement. I would rephrase both of those as follows: "Don't trust authority blindly", and "Don't accept someone else's definition of patriot; make your own definition, and stick to it."

Plus, those people who never discipline their kids are raising them to be spoiled brats, who have no concept of right or wrong or punishment. "Do the right thing" has been replaced by "Don't get caught", at least with many people.

I'm ranting again. I'll stop now.

As for hedonism and kids having it too easy, I feel that is more up to the parents how they raise their kids rather than modern day technology.
When school is in season I live in dorms for people with a social dysfunction (in my case, aspergers syndrome) and there are a lot of people there who can't clean without help from one of the personnel to the point where I'm often credited for being able to cook, clean and manage my own economy, which baffles me somewhat as to me that is common knowledge that I learned as a child.

I don't interact much with the (young) kids of today (those around or below 15). I get all the info about them when I pass them by on the roads. Bunch of loadmouths with no respect for others >_> Most of them need a good spanking! Just a shame that the correctional hit on the head/behind is now against the law with some serious consequences. I received them in my youth and I sure as hell didn't turn out badly.

And anyone who says otherwise will end up a subject for my latest experiments and fleshcrafting.

But yes, our society here in Poland is being put through what USA had in the '70s.
Liberal movements with their "live in a moment, don't get caught, avoid responsibilities and consequences of your actions, do whatever pleases you" philosophies...

Not all children of the 90's lack discipline and common courtesy. However, if you think you're justified when you break some shop window and steal a TV because your sports team loses the championship, or because you think rich people are trying to keep you down, then yes, you are part of the problem.

If you think that behavior is wrong, then you're probably okay.

Now, don't get me started on drinking the blood of the living to sustain your undead existence, because obviously that's acceptable.
