| That's pretty much what I figured for the pronunciation. I used to be very into Egyptian mythology, so I learned a lot of the pronunciation rules for weird-ass Egyptian names.
I tried to sound it out for Claudia & ask if that's how it was pronounced, but she didn't understand my half-baked phonetics shorthand. LOL (Hard to do without the standard phonetic characters.)
(Edit.) -- Looking at the Duncan pic from that blog again (vanity, I know -- but Duncan's famous!). Reminds me a little of Disney's Tarzan, which I've always liked.

I can imagine...like I said I personally have no clue how to pronounce it. I'm sure my character does though and since it is play by post instead of voice that's ok.

| That's the great part about this game. All of our characters speak perfect French, even though the players don't. I have a little time to kill before Duncan makes an appearance. He's gone through some stuff that took time, but didn't require a lot of dialogue. When he's in sync with the others, I'll start posting again. | |

Pphhbbtthhtt!! Didn't know. Some stuff on this forum I don't look at anymore. I don't make suggestions for the new mod, because I want to be surprised. Plus I do other stuff.* * "Dear Santa: Please bring clothes this Christmas for all the ladies on Uncle Duncan's computer. They must be really, really cold."

| Lol So you like awesome Duncan and awesome Miri by awesome kokomiko ? I never understood English pronunciation's written (O-RAW-what?). I usually go for X like in.. I'm asking Lyle today how he'd pronounce Neb-uau (Neb is easy, the uau I'd go with the latin sounds of U, A, then U again ; so, that's U like in "OU"ganda, and A like in "A"nimal). Yes, Lyle happened to take Egyptology classes in college as a minor. | |

And whose blog is that Clauds? That Duncan is bloody epic. Kokomiko is an awesome girl I love ;)Eventually, I plan on having her do ALL TEH CHARACTERS I knew her through her very first piece, the Tremere PC from Bloodlines : http://kokomiko.deviantart.com/gallery/42998378 Since then I've been stalking her :p I've had opened a blog and linked it a couple of times around (I think I opened a topic in the general area ), http://secretsofthemasquerade.tumblr.com. Talk about way too nice now. I actually try to work the stick out of Corinna's butt a bit, and then Neb tries to flirt with her. Flirt. With the woman that has no interest beyond occult grimoires and can't take a joke as a joke if her life depends on it. Dang, what a combination. xD New Year's Resolution: Play Corinna consistently nicer to the neonates and keep working at getting the stick out of her hindquarters. (And also, acquire more awesome occult grimoires, because duh, the library is understocked. )

| Duncan could've told him Corinna had no sense of humor. Apparently it was surgically removed before her Embrace. Flirting with someone who dresses like 'Sexually Repressed Librarian' is risky anyway. | |

| That's not right! If anything, she dresses like a sexually repressed secretary. She just doesn't have glasses, which is a pity, that would've been so awesome to roleplay (giving looks over glasses is a great way to facepalm without facepalming, I wear glasses myself so I know ). Ah, but it wouldn't fit her character to wear something she doesn't need to wear. And if you didn't know, all Tremere have their humour surgically removed before they are Embraced. Actually, it's part of the Embrace, it's twisting their minds to kick out all the jokes that use up space needed for learning dead languages and stuff. | |

| yeah it was a mistake...kinda fit his characters knowledge though. He may have been a ghoul but all he has known really outside of discussions are Setities. He now has to deal with the reality of the things he has been told. | |

| Ah, don't mind it, you just hit the most sensitive spot on Corinna. She won't like Neb from now on (if there was a chance for that to happen anyway, I guess she's really paranoid about Setites), but nevermind that. Still better than being yelled at by Griffin. | |

| A library, especially a Tremere Library is never overstocked.
And while I don't wear glasses, William does :-D Although I don't think he can pull off a sexy librarian look with them for obvious reasons.

| Claudia has a sense of humor. So does Kersten, although his humor is darker in nature. It's true glasses would make a better librarian stereotype, though. So Corinna looks more like Maggie Gyllenhaal in the movie Secretary? | |

It's true, Neonate Tremere go through a whole lot of bullshit, they don't have that 7 days of hell like nossies do, but still. And maybe that's why William managed to avoid learning Latin in a chantry deadset on latin. :-o His sense of humor was too thick to be removed.
