Grand Theatre - Déambulatoire Monday March 28th 2011

Nyx gave an unlady like snort of amusement when William tried to goad her into talking. Her hand came to rest on his shoulder as she lent down to speak with him.

William:

When she had finished her hand came away as she straightened. The Nosferatu blatently stared at Neb but it wasn't meant as intimidation, she just seemed to take him in as a whole.

I prefer more specific questions than open ended ones.

Neb gives a curious look at Nyx.
(Neb) Well there's no need to stay so silent, we're among friends. You're free to say whatever you like about you. If you tell me you like tulips, that's as legitimate as anything else. So, do you like tulips?

He's charming, that's a given, and he does ask Nyx a specific question in hopes of her being more at ease. Something natural in this particular Setite. He nods at Fred.
(Neb) Of course. We're fighting for the same resources, it's normal for me to find out what the Giovanni is up to. Regular and fair influence wars, as accepted in Camarilla territory, isn't it ?



Jean-Pierre lets out a slight sigh when Felix whispers to him.
(Jean-Pierre) I don't need the details. If she wants to speak about it, she will eventually. If not, there's no use to get involved in their business.

He pauses an instant and gives even a slight smile at Felix.
(Jean-Pierre) Knowing they're having a business, regardless of its nature, is a piece of information you can use. Be sure to know who you are telling it to.

As if nothing he indicates Neb and then Emilio, who's speaking to Chris. It was mentionned already that the Giovanni and the Setites are rivals for their business in drugs and prostitution (as well as other crimes of all sorts). Griffin leans a little to voice down.

Felix and spies:

William's words made her smile. She quickly lent back down to speak again.

William:

Neb can see she weighs her words carefully before speaking. She's obviously not that impressed with his charm.

No offence but I don't talk about my alive days. As for tulips only as part of their role in producing oxygen I guess.

Fred nods with a nervous smile.
Certainly, apologies on my inquiries and thank you kindly for answering them low-standing though I am.

Neb looks to Nyx. He still acts charming and interested, putting in his natural skills to put the Nosferatu at ease (without trying to seduce her, of course).

Oh, I didn't mean when you were alive.  Honestly I could care less about that.  I meant what are your interests and concerns now.  There are a number of things I would like to get accomplished over a long period of time, but I know the only way I am going to be able to do that is to work with others and learn what they want to accomplish, and then help them do that.

Neb looks back to Fred and adds with a tone weighting his words carefully. He's serious with the Malkavian, and even slightly more polite.

I do think it's time that the Giovanni are removed though.  This way the trades can be brought under one control and if something needed to be changed it would be as simple as placing a word in my ear and it would be arranged.

Don't sell yourself short either.  I have been watching this evening.  You are one of the movers and shakers around here.  People listen to you and want your support and participation.

Nyx shrugged her shoulders when Neb spoke to her. His charm didn't really put her at ease it seemed to make her more tense.

If that is what you want to know about you're better off talking to my Primogen.

Jean-Pierre gives a glance at Mikael when he enters the Deambulatoire. He seems to resume his conversation with Felix until he notices Mikael goes directly towards them, and just stares as he sits. The Tremere Harpy stays silent an instant before giving a glance at Felix.
(Jean-Pierre) Mr Horsman, have you met Felix Sommier yet ? He is a newborn of the Toreador Clan.

Once proper introductions have been made, with as much good will as a prison guard, Jean-Pierre takes time to address the Magister. He seems displeased, but he's willingly making an effort.
(Jean-Pierre) Mrs Ansons informed me about the news, he says so indicating Gosuin's closed room. I suppose we'll have to talk about it. I'll prepare a report for you to be up to date the events you've missed since you left.




The doors to Gosuin's room are closed.

Xavier and Henri Bowens enter the Deambulatoire, along with Celine. Soon after, Celine joins Laure Nolveaux to discuss something, and they both leave. Maybe to prepare the Theater ?

It's midnight and the play has finished.




After his conversation with Chris, Emilio approaches the so called Neonate table and gives them all a wide smile.
(Emilio) Hey. So, high importance meetings happening uh ?

William looks at the newcomer with a smile.
"Ohh well you know, Kindred love to make a big show about an execution. It's like Disneyland, only with more gore and less overpriced fastfood."

Gosuin's room and spies:

Emilio laughs at William's words.
(Emilio) Gosuin did call on a few blood hunts before, but I don't think he ever executed anyone himself, nor in court. Very curious. Hell we might even see the whole Primogen Council at once !

The Setite continues with a wide and friendly smile.
(Emilio) It's bound to be interesting nonetheless. See if.. "justice" works. I mean, last time there was a successful blood hunt, I ended it.

He shrugs. Maybe they'll ask. He gives a glance at Nyx
(Emilio) Say, Nossie-girl, I have an extra job for you, de mano a mano [from hand to hand], since we're at it. Can we ?

Obviously he means stepping aside to discuss it in private. He does give a knowing smile to Neb.



Xavier parts ways with the Gangrel Primogen to have a smoke on the balconies.

Neb looks to Emilio and nods.

Do you wish my presence sire?

Emilio nods at Neb's question.
(Emilio) Yep it's something your skills will be useful in and since it concerns us.. Right out of the frying pan, hm?

For sure Emilio is friendly and informal.

Neb gives a knowing look.

Of course, it should be interesting.

Neb turns to Nyx.

Shall we go with my sire then and see what he needs done? We can continue our discussion afterwards if you like.

Neb pushes his chair back and makes as if to stand up.

Mikael gives a quick glance at Griffin when Felix is mentioned, and then to the Neonate.
Oh, yes. I've met him earlier the evening. Primogen Durvault and I talked to him about etiquette and other steps in this dance that we play.

He then returns to stare at the Prince's room door. Griffin mention of the news brings no reaction out of him.
We speak about this after the ceremony, at the Hotel.

William shrugs.
"I'm a realist, justice is subjective to the winning side with the bigger gun, just like history's good and bad guys is, I bear no such idealistic ideas to think otherwise. So...", briefly looking at Neb and then back at the older Setite as he got up and gave a slight formal bow, "You must be Monsieur Emilio I presume? Forgive me for not knowing your last name if it offends, but I haven't heard anyone mention it. So, you dealt the final justice on the last bloodhunt? Marvelous! What happened to the corpse if I might ask? I just love studying such unique events and blast my luck I've actually never had the chance to study the change of final death up close myself."
