Forum & chatbox

Is anyone else having trouble loading the forum? And the chatbox outright doesn't work for me at all anymore. It's just gone.

Currently I'm on it and experiencing no problems.

Does refreshing help?

I see the chatbox (haven't tried to enter); but my last post doesn't show up as the latest in the "Out of Character" section of the Role-Playing area. Claudia's post in another thread is listed as the latest, which is incorrect. So I know something is messed up.

Nope, refreshing does not help.

In case it's relevant, I'm using Firefox.

I'm using Chrome here. I can test with Firefox.

EDIT: Just tested with Firefox, and it still worked for me. *shrugs*

Yep. Yours didn't showed up as latest for me either, but the post is there.

Maybe it's because I use Internet Explorer. Yeah, I know. But it's easier with Outlook, which is what I used at work. And Firefox has quirks too.

I literally cannot imagine any quirk that gives IE ANY advantage over Chrome or Firefox.

Basically I'm just too lazy to download Firefox. But I don't want Chrome anyway.

I'm a believer in the 'If it works don't fix it' rule. I might feel differently if IE starts to give me trouble... for example, if the problems listed above are proven to be the fault of IE.

It seems to be back to normal now. Weird.

Of course now I have to read through several days worth of chat archives, but it's not like I haven't done that before.

Malkav you teutonic bastard why does 50% of the time I post, the forum I posted to highlights as if there are new unread messages there (as if I haven't read the message I posted) and the other 50% of time, it does not?

In the same vein, sometimes a new message that I haven't read yet is not marked as "new post" so the forum icon remains blue instead of yellow, but sometimes it doesn't.

I have no bloody idea what happens there, but I have also noticed this.
