Is there something about different encoding of the songs you chosed (256kb/sec, 128kb/sec...) ?
(I have never tried it because I like very much Bloodlines' OST, but maybe it's something like this)

well i really didnt even understand what you're talkin about lol so i've no idea O.x

MP3 have different qualities according to how much the sound in sompressed (from a 50ish Mb .wav song).
Some MP3 weight 126KB per second, some 512kb per second.
If you are changing Isolated (which has a 128 kb/sec compression) with another file that is not 128kb/sec the program might not recognize the new file as a song, because of too much (256kb/sec) or too little (64kb/sec) information
