Should have done it 25 years earlier. Though I'm not sure if that had changed a lot. As Terry Pratchett put it in one of the disc-world novels: Shoot the dictator to prevent the war? Well, the next one is waiting right behind the corner. Shoot him too? Why not shoot everybody and invade Poland? -

And loved animals. Was a vegetarian, too. And an artist. Guy had to be sensitive and caring, no? How does being a vegetarian make you a good person?

| Speaking as a vegetarian, it doesn't. But it is assumed by a lot of people (including vegetarians themselves) that because we don't eat meat we're somehow more caring and compassionate. | |

Most people who follow that sort of lifestyle (mostly vegans, from my own experience) were extremely judgmental and sanctimonious. Also, Tumblr vegans.

| People will find the most random things to latch themselves on to and then say "See, my group is better than everyone else because of this!". Can be race, nationality, gender, political ideas, religion, habits (including eating habits) and whatnot. Punch them in the face and then move on.

I wanted to ask if that was another quote or just you being defensive, but it's just all too plain.

Also, Tumblr vegans. Yep, these 'caring' and 'compassionate' people sometimes are very agressive in stating their way is the only one. But if humans were meant to be vegetarians, why do we have a set of omnivorous teeth. And only one stomach. - Jad.3 wrote:

And I say this as a vegetarian, too. Yeah, laugh if you want. Big, bad veggie eating wolf and whatnot...

I really don't mind what you eat, as long as you don't go preaching your lifestyle is the only one... And the big bad wolf using his big teeth for catching rogue granny smith is better'n big bad wolf eating grandma. Though judging by all the jokes, big bad wolf eating mother in law would be seen as a blessing. -

But if humans were meant to be vegetarians, why do we have a set of omnivorous teeth. And only one stomach. Yeah, tell me about it. I could go on about Tumblrisms, but I'll spare you the brain rot. I actually got into a Facebook argument (pretty pathetic place to have one, I know) with some people who were trying to tell me about how we didn't evolve eating meat and weren't supposed to, etc, etc. I provided a lot of scientific evidence that we did and are, while they usually just used their feels and the Bible. One time, one of them did give some scientific evidence, but it was easily proven wrong and countered. Idgaf if someone wants to be a vegetarian or vegan, really. It's their choice and I can't stop them. But if they want to make sweeping statements about human biology- well, I have to pull out science on that one.

Or near a hostile Lasombra. OK, mine isn't exactly a quote but last time in a LWOD scene this Setite anti-tribu called my character a "snake". I felt as honored as I was amused.

| @Toreador: They used the Bible to argue that humans are meant to be vegetarians? So, let's give them the Bible: Abel sacrificed some of his sheep, and God was pleased. Caine offered part of his fruit harvest, and God did not accept the sacrifice! @Dragatus: I assume your character was not a snake. | |

Please stop with the emo stuff. Why? Emos are good for the Masquerade. Nobody pays any attention when they get extra pale. So: "Keep Calm and Bite an Emo"

Of course Einstein never said much on the internet. There was no internet at the time he said (or didn't) the things attributed to him. And what about Schrödinger? AFAIK no cat ever claimed him as personal can opener... -
