| This conversation is taking an interesting turn. While I know "it" about Feral, Malak did surprise me! Philo, I'd say in plenty old cultures men were sticking their dicks in little boys. When they were available. Even Japan. The samurai had apprentices, and were allowed to fuck them with their consent. No one hearing you scream is considered consent. I take it they had a lot of duties, no money for whores, and were ashamed of masturbating..? Now I'm doing it too... You know what, let's rub one out for the safety of little boys! Also, drinking alone is best. No one to bitch about your cigar and choice of books. Time spent on the bar alone with cigar and drink was good time. And the pretty barmaid. Why did I turn her down? I miss the pretty. Let me pour a drink and share a story. | |

| I think Malak was speakong as a historian, not a practitioner And he is right: to make ancient societies be "paradise" you must be as naive as an average liberal... As for siphilium, I would not criticize the Greeks too much. Today we drive species to extinction much faster than they did... Jad, you are not speaking about the one with pentagram tattoo on her neck, are you...? | |

Pipe and whiskey in one hand, book in the other, and a wicker rocking chair watching the sky pass over someone else's grain field. It's a goal, and possibly an achievable one, baring the Canucks or Yanks invading Jesus-land 'Murica. And as to the other . . . well, I take it where I can get it. Removal of standards means more options!

Malak boy, you swing for both teams then...? Who would have thought...

You know what they say, loneliness is addictive. Because it's so very peaceful. Your time, your pleasure, and calm. And you can think 'It's not that bad. I'm ok. Everything will work out.' - Feral wrote:

Find some time for yourself. You have to. The world keeps spinning without you.

Find some time for yourself. You have to. The world keeps spinning without you. Loneliness not so much, but peace and quiet are addictive for sure... Finding time for them is hard, when all you could do is publish or perish...

Drinking alone os a slippery road, so beware. I know a couple of alcoholics who started that way.
Well my dad was an alcoholic for most of his life, so I got that going for me. Jad, by drinking alone I mean buying booze and drinking in my house. Not going on to the bar alone. It's cheaper, but I don't get to meet any tattooed barmaids that way. I don't doubt the existance of pedophilia, homossexuality and whatnot in ancient/medieval societies. People were always finding stuff to put their dick in. I do doubt the rewriting of things as if it was as acceptable and open as, let's say, homossexuality in Sweden. But you can't use Japan as an example because that country is fucked up.

We could fistbump as far as drinking fathers are concerned then... But it is still a choice. Genetics is a thing, obviously, but you do not have to drink. I don't, exactly becouse most of the German half of my ancestry is made up of drunkards. So I might get addicted easly, most likely. One more reason for not trying to establish that experimentally. Being a broke af PhD student helps, too... As for the sugaring of history, that is exactly what I meant. But why to hate on Japan? They gave us Pokemon, anime, manga, hentai, bukkake... OK, let's hate on Japan a little.

| At high enough temperatures or pressures, water becomes dry! You should try it, Feral. Be a way to get clean without losing your odor or protective slime coating. | |
