| Hey bloodsuckers around the globe... ...this year will see the 10th anniversary of bloodlines! Any ideas how to celebrate the birthday of one of the greatest computer games ever to be released? -

I believe you got something wrong there. This is "Vampire, the Masquerade", not "Witches, the Equinox". -

| How about we generate random characters, play through the game, and document the playthrough in a forum thread (with screenshots & stuff)? It would be nice if 10 people did it, 1 for each year the game has been out. - Click to show random generation procedure:
http://www.wizards.com/dnd/dice/dice.htm
Version you play
Roll 1d6: - 1: Wesps' plus patch - 2: Camarilla Edition - 3: The Final Nights - 4: Clan Quest - 5 or 6: either your own choice or roll again

You can have up to 5 dots in primary abilities, up to 3 dots in secondary abilities, and only 1 dot in tertiary abilities. These limits don't apply to attributes.
Roll 1d6: - 1: combat is primary, social is secondary, covert is tertiary - 2: combat is primary, covert is secondary, social is tertiary - 3: social is primary, combat is secodnary, covert is tertiary - 4: covert is primary, combat is secondary, social is tertiary - 5: treat all three as secondary - 6: covert and social are both primary, combat is tertiary
Weapon of choice:
Roll 1d4: - 1 or 2: Brawl or Melee - 3 or 4: Firearms
Covert ability
Roll 1d6: - 1: Stealth - 2: Security - 3: Computers - 4: Stealth & Security - 5: Stealth & Computers - 6: Security & Computers
Social style
If you're Nosferatu/Samedi and get Seduction (single or combined), you roll again. If you're playing CE Malkavian and get Persuasion (single or combined) you can roll again.
Roll 1d6: - 1: Intimidate - 2: Persuasion - 3: Seduction - 4: Intimidate & Persuasion - 5: Intimdiate & Seduction - 6: Persuasion & Seduction

Primary discipline
Primary discipline has to start with 2 dots and has to be upgraded all the way to 5 dots by the end of the game. Other disciplines can be upgraded up to 3 dots. They also cannot ever be higher than your primary discipline.
Roll 1d6: - 1 or 2: 1st clan discipline is primary - 3 or 4: 2nd clan discipline is primary - 5 or 6: 3rd clan discipline is primary
I got: Version: Camarilla Edition Clan: Malkavian Playstyle: all abilities secondary (max 3) Weapon: Brawl or Melee Covert: Stealth & Security Social: Intimidate & Seduction Utility: Inspection Primary discipline: Obfuscate

| Maybe we should write an "Avenge Troika" quest and add it to all existing mods... Once in Hollywood the pc will have to invade the Activision offices, kill the CEO, hack the computers and transfer the money to some "Just Cause" of the player's choice. - | |

Tell me more about it... I only found out about Bloodlines through YouTube. Then my father had seen me watching a walkthrough and I got a copy as a gift. Then I spent a kidney on DriveTroughRPG, but it is a different story... If not for my dad, I wouldn't have known White Wolf existed XD

| For me it was the other way round. I knew about Vampire as a p&p game. So when I saw the DVD in the shop, that got me excited. And while searching for a walkthrough because I got stuck in the warrens (no idea how to get past that bloody pump), I found Wesps patch and Zer0s ad for CE 1.0 on Game Banshee... - | |
