No Error but mod does not seem to have installed Empty
PostSubject: No Error but mod does not seem to have installed   No Error but mod does not seem to have installed EmptyWed Mar 19, 2014 5:51 am

I downloaded 1.1 Full from modDB, did a fresh install of Bloodlines, and ran the installer.  The installer took a few mins and appeared to install everything no problem; but when I started a new game the character sheet offered the original clans instead of your new ones.  male and females were avail for all selections so it doesn't seem to be an issue of being mistitled or something.  I'm downloading the Patches Scrolls version now and If that fixes the problem then I'll report back here. What do you think may have gone wrong? Is there a way I can see if the mod successfully installed maybe its a char sheet issue?

This is on Win 7 machine

Edit: Patches Scrolls ver of the installer for 1.1 Full appears to have worked! The file uploaded to ModDB needs to be replaced it seems.

It's because of "where" you installed it exactly.

I think it should be installed in the /vampire subfolder and not in the vampire-bloodlines main folder.

If you install it in vampire bloodlines/vampire, it won't "overwrite" the files, and you'll end up having this :

...Activision/vampire-bloodlines/vampire/vampire/
Which is like haviong "my images" inside "my images"
the first folder will contain all the original files and the folder inside it will contain all the new ones, but the .exe always checks the "files inside the /vampire folder", not the "files inside the vampire/vampire subfolder".
The files doubled over, instead of the new files replacing the old ones.

It's why we always say : install it somewhere else, then drag and drop the folders and "merge folders" + "replace all"

TFN is to be installed in the -bloodlines main folder. Some of the older Clan Quest versions had to be installed in -bloodlines\vampire.
The most recent versions of the patch and all three major mods (CE, CQM, TFN) must be installed directly into the main folder.
