Internal weapons names?

I think that given that you cannot carry but one of each type of weapon, I will take note of how much knifes, S&Ws, etc. do my enemies drop, so then I can go to the shop and sell them repeteadly, accordingly. But I know that some weapons have been renamed, so, which internal name has each weapon now?

If you open up Windows explorer and navigate to "\Vampire - Bloodlines\Vampire\vdata\items\" you will see a list of all items in the game including weapons. Open up the weapon items with notepad.exe and you can see the weapon name and stats. The name of the file "item_w_xxxxxxx" is the name of the item used in the game, or the internal name if you will.
