The blog with all the videos is still up: http://zustercity.blogspot.si/
Basically it was a large scale vampire game with a team of STs that was played over the internet and all the sessions were recorded and gathered on the aforementioned blog. It was a Sabbat game and I played a sneaky Nosferatu who eventually got killed due to a packmate's stupidity.

The images of the light and dark winged pegasus intrigued me so I watched the first two episodes. And then I watched the third and the fourth and then I nearly gave up, but then the 5th one was good again (or was it the 6th?) and I binge watched the rest of season 1. Then just as I finished that season 2 started and I followed Equestria Daily (a popular brony blog) until about the end of season 3. I still watched season 4 as well as the first Equestria Girls (which was bad and stupid and had troubling implications), but at that point I wasn't really following the community anymore. And I never got around to watching season 5. There might even be further seasons by now, but I don't care enough to check.

Mostly wordplay. The most important question was already answered by The Red Dwarf: "...everything I've ever experienced flashing before my eyes..!" "Yeah, it's called life!"

All right, I'll play again.
And in the meantime, I need some show to binge-watch. Suggestions?

First season of American Gods was okay. Not quite amazing, but it had it's good moments.
Fargo is good, though I've only seen the 3rd season and that got a little weird in the second half. The first episodes were fantastic though and the final episode worked well. I still need to get around to watching the first two seasons and I'd recommend watching the entire series in order. Though each season seemed to be it's own complete story the third one turned out to build on the first two.
Before that I watched The Magicians and I liked it, but I'm not sure you would too. You would probably hate the protagonist. I really prefer the secondary characters myself.
On the animated front the most recent thing I remember watching is Black Lagoon. It's not particularly deep, but it was fun to watch. And once for a change the English dub is actually superior to the Japanese original. The fighting scenes are horrible if you try to apply logic to them, but entertaining if you don't. The best thing about it are the colorful characters. The following clip sets the tone for the series as a whole pretty well:
Well, either the last thing I watched was Black Lagoon or it was the Fate series. I'm not sure of the chronology anymore. For the Fate series I started with Fate Zero, but since that a prequel it actually works better to start with Fate Stay Night, unless you're determined never to watch it, which I could understand. Whatever you do, do not watch the Fate Stay night Unlimited Bladeworks movie, it's way too compressed to make any sense. I hear the Unlimited Bladeworks series is actually good though I haven't watched it myself.

I can't stand the idea of American Gods. Because all the gods of ancient times are going to move to Manhattan, listen to Broadway and Mount Olympus is inside Empire State Building. Yeah, go fuck yourself. It reminds me of Percy Jackson transforming the Greek mythology into an american high school bullshit drama. It is basically some jerk-off fanfiction drapped in American culture because MURICA.
For the same reason I couldn't watch House of Cards after Season 2. Up tillwards then it was the story of a sociopathic mannipulator seeking power and revenge. Beginning season 3, as he became the President of the US, the "USA!USA!USA!" propaganda went into full gear and now he was being portrayed as a moral person with good intentions.
Series I recommend: Hannibal Animes I recommend: Attack on Titan, Death Note.

Series: Boardwalk Empire, Three Kingdoms and Rome.
As for the latest Fate/Stay I'd pass it. Starts off good as they tried making the best out of it but it suffers from being Fate. The MC can't stop being snowflakey without ruining the core of the setting and that hurts. Also the creator thinks with his dick, judging by how many historical chars are converted to attractive girls. CUZ THEY WERE ALWAYS LIKE THAT. Fate Zero is good though, ending largely aside. Recommend that.

That's because before Fate/Stay Night was an anime it was a hentai game. Thinking with the dick was kind of the point.
My plan was to just watch Fate/Zero, but then I got into the universe so much I wanted to watch the rest too. I think if I watched Stay Night first I would've been less bothered by Zero's ending. On it's own that ending is seriously underwhelming. It's unsatisfying and doesn't make sense.
So the situation as I see it is that if you're going to watch it all it's best to start with Stay Night, but if you're only going to watch one thing it should be Zero.

Why is the anime so complicated? Better not watch it at all

If you mean Fate it's not a matter of it being complicated, it's a matter of Zero being a prequel to Stay Night and that meant they forced the ending of it to fit the beginning of the other one. There is no resolution, only a setup for another series.

I think the soaring flashlights are interesting, albeit costly.
As for anime, I do not know enough adout it to comment.
