| This is the Ask a Question section. And I will not ask WHEN.
Developers, are we going to get new character models? I mean, there are so many clones... if the Antitribu mod did something right, it was adding some models and skins. Livens up the place a bit.

Exactly! If someone wanted to volunteer to reskin/remodel anything in TFN, I would gladly except the help.

| How about this?
Loading Screen Not so much the background(as that is obviously vanilla), but rather the "Overlay". Might have to remove the Ankh and the spilled blood, though. I've done almost the whole UI to look like that, save for the Feeding Bar, the Inventory menu, and the Tutorial popup backgrounds. Still have to do those.
Ballroom Maintinence Room 4 These are a pain(bloody decals). Made them higher res, and thus I had to really adjust them to "fit" the places they are on. A few of them still go on to door frames, but not to the point of looking out of place(like in the SM Clinic, the "Stairs" sign kinda touches where the door opens up). Still have to make those borders a bit crisper, though.

| How are we doing with "let's get Lenusk@" iniative I believe that some of the PC models are actually pretty good. With the right direction, she can obviously do some amazing things. | |

| I'd borrow the models from Marvin. I didn't check them yet, though, but since she did them, I wouldn't ask her to do even more

| Borrowing anything from Mc.v9 isn't an option. If she wants to assist us and the community, that's fine, but begging them for models... I don't think we should do that. | |

| For me most of the antitribu models are not an option, with or without Marvin's blessing. Knox almost made me vomit. What I've seen from the pc models, they are well made but I don't like them. | |

| If we were to make new skins for the current models, would it still make it possible to have less clones in the streets? Or we would have clones different from the Vanilla? | |

What I've seen from the pc models, they are well made but I don't like them. Know is horrible, indeed. Apart from that, I do think they have some really good ones. It's a matter of taste. I would rather have new models for new NPCs, rather then remaking the old ones. I don't like any changes to the already existing NPCs. Cretino, who's going to make those models? I don't think that there are that many people who are really good at it. Maybe Zer0 and Maxus Corvin, or some other talent that I'm missing.

| I'm not good at it. Making new skins would be enough. We can make a copy of the model with a different name and skin. Then we still have the clones, but at least they wear different clothes. | |

Skins, models.. isn't it kinda the same when we speak of Bloodlines? Didn't Lenusk@ just reskin some models or did she add something else to them as well?

| I think it is mostly reskinning, with a few model changes like shortening the Tremere 1 skirt. You're right that most bloodlines models can have only one skin. But it's easy to change the skin path in the model file. So I can take pedestrian_1, make a copy of the model, called pedestrian_2, change the skin path in the pedestrian_2 model, and have the same model with different skins. Then at least the clones don't look exactly the same. | |

| What I meant was that we and antitribu, we can't really create new models right? Because of the bones or whatever, we only reskin the models, we don't actually create and import new ones... or am I horribly mistaken? | |

| It was my understanding that creating new models or adding any vertices or removing any vertices (triangles) from a currently existing model would crash the game/model. So take for instance, the little twigs of hair on the male malkavian. I was able to remove them from the model so instead, I moved them about 50 feet to the left. Technically they are still a part of the model and if you looked REALLY hard to the left you can see a tiny bit of floating vertices still attached to him, lol. Has anyone noticed? Nope. | |

Has anyone noticed? Nope. I would think a better option would be to just make the hair texture transparent, or add "$no_draw" "1" to the vmt file for the hair texture. But that could turn out like trying to remove the Brujah female's hat. Why? Guess. Okay, fine. She has no brains. SERIOUSLY. Her models are shaped for the hat, and there is NOTHING under it. Save for what is a big hole in the model if you try getting rid of the hat. And thank you, Zer0.
