VTMB launch freeze!

Title sums it. Whenever I launch the unmodded, unpatched VTMB, it freezes. But 3 weeks ago it was fine!
If I update VTMB to the latest UP, will I be still be able to mod AND test?

Hm, I have no idea what causes your problems. I can't guarantee that it will run smoothly with the patch and then a mod installed. But I suppose all files that have been changed by the patch are also changed by the mod, so there should be no big issues.

Are you using the latest SDK version? I think there were some issues with earlier ones...

It's a problem with the game itself. I downloaded and didn't patch or mod it, just so when Hammer Editor tried to launch it, there would be no problems; the question is, if I patch or mod, is it ok?

It's working - it just takes a gazillion years to load.
