Stuck on Loading Screen After Griffith Park

After surviving the werewolf and meeting up with Jack the loading screen never fully loads. None of the other screens have hung up. Haven't tried a reload yet but had to turn my computer off and back on and reloaded the game and it hung up again.

I assume you have tried loading an earlier save?

yes.Weird thing is that the save game shows up for that part as the apartment. But when the screen acts like its done loading it doesn't go away and I have to shut the computer down to get it off.
