I know. A Captain has to recognize that part of his duty is to let the younger guys lead the away team... or, if the captain's presence is required, to leave the first officer on the ship.

But I think it was more a case of the "Lead Actors Get All Of The Screen Time" Syndrome. Nobody tuned in to 'Star Trek' to see some unknown lieutenant or ensign lead the away team-- which, on a ship of four hundred something, is what would happen. I wanted to see Kirk mix it up.

Never mind. I'll stop, before this turns into the 'Star Trek' thread.

You have the same Birthday (Tuesday) as my friend does and his party is tonight which I am dutifully attending even though I just finished a 9 hour shift, he lives an hour away and I work early in the morning tomorrow! Oh and I have to fit homework "somewhere" in there hehehe, well happy early birthday anywhoozles.

Yeah, I buried him in my garden, In between some lavender plants.
I also placed a nice rock on top of the grave.

I do have another guinnie but I've heard that if one dies the other
one will follow him soon after because he will feel lonely

I want to live in Bordeaux. After seeing the pictures of the people involved in their politics all civil, easy, and smiley-faced, combined with Claudia's commentary makes me want to live there.
