Z, I usually love your work, but I have to agree...the dreads are horrendous, but I think that's a limitation of the models and the engine you have to work with. I've never liked the looks of the dreads, which is why for a Gangrel, I'll always pick the female model...just looks nicer. Of course this isn't a gangrel, but the look / model is pretty much the same.

If the hair could actually hang down a bit and look like...well...hair...and not like what Malkav said, "a big spider sitting on his head", I'd be all for it LOL

ROFL, now that I am actually looking at it again, it reminds me of the face-huggers from the old Aliens movies, only instead of attached to his face, it's attached to the top of his head...maybe something will burst out of his skull

What is wrong with the hair is that the hair doesn't mach the facial hair... That's why it looks "wrong" ;-)

(beside, blonde dreadlocks are worn by fair-skinned people with fair eyes, scandinavian or deutch type... if eyebrows and beard do not match, it adds too much, something's off)

Z knows it's all in good fun, most of us that aren't modders can't do anything even remotely as good as what he does You also Malkav! We can blame Troika for the inability ( so it seems ) of introducing new character models and accessories...like hair that looks like hair What I wouldn't give ( so would many of us ) to see Bloodlines, or a new game in the same vein utilize something like the F03 engine ( or other newer engine ), and have a CS to make mods and plugins for it.

Besides a little scare once in awhile keeps you on your toes, so you don't forget to DUCK

Zer0Morph, I really appreciate all your work, play CE and wait impatiently for TFN. You did great job on the Setite, she would not have a problem tempting me to do evil deeds The Osebo looks thuggish and brute just like he should. His eyes are really well done, dead and empty. That said, I must agree with Claudia. Assamite is really well done, but for the hair. They might look well on me, as I am fair, nordic type after my German ancestors, but on someone of middle-eastern descent they are just not right. They dont match his face hair which makes them look out of place. Maybe if you have changed color of them to something darker it would math the Assamite. Dont take it as an offense, but as it is it looks as if someone dropped a plate of pasta on that poor Kindreds head...

Well I’m still sick but I came to work today which is why I haven’t been able to respond until now. So the general consensus is that the hair color sucks I see. What’s funny is in America the only people that bleach their hair are brown haired people, but they never bleach their eyebrows or facial hair, so you have lots of bleached haired guys running around with dark brown eye brows and facial hair, it’s very common here.

But since nobody likes it, I can change it to another color easy enough. I personally love it, it’s what makes me want to play an Assamite honestly but since nobody else does then just let me know what color you think would work better. I can’t really do much for the model as I suck using blender, I may be able to lengthen his dreadlocks but that’s about it. Then you might have dreadlocks going into his shoulder vertices which would look even worse.

Since bleached hair is out and the Baali model is going to sport white hair, I’m thinking maybe a darker rusty blonde maybe? Or should we go straight black or brown? I really like the light clashing with the dark but if nobody else does then I guess I’ll have to change it. Just let me know what you guys want and it’s done. *tear*

Doesn't matter Z, do as you will bud, I personally don't mind the bleached look, it's the whole alien face-hugger hair look that gets to me, but since you suck at blender...so be it , it is what it is

When I get home tonight I will be reskinning the 3rd Assamite Male model, so I can take another look at the hair situation. Just let me know what color(s) you want it to be and I'll change it tonight. If we can't have bleached blonde because it looks "off", then realistically a middle eastern person is going to have black hair.

...but I'm still sad *still crying*

I don't think any light-colored hair would look good on him.

However, zero, would it be possible for you to leave his hair dark or brown, but someplaces white or blonde, as some kind of "shade" or something? Just an idea

For ALL who hated my beautiful hair-do... I reskinned it!

NOW how does it look? Does it suite your palettes? I ended up making the base of his hair black, then did even dark black highlights to give it depth and shadow, I actually kind've like it.
