Would be nice if u could help me, cuz if i wanna install second time always the message with "u wanna delete vamp bloodlines?".. And a second question regarding clanquestmod: is it normal that the game is "thinner"? i mean all models, doors, comps etc are all ridiculous thin like the head has the lenght of 3/4 or 4/5 of the whole body from shoulder to shoulder^^ again if u can help it would be nice greetz Shabu

| Move the first instalation to another folder, create new shortcut of the .exe file to the desktop. Should be in C:/Program Files/Avtivision/Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines. Move the last folder somewhere else, best to another drive, but not necessarily. Then you should be able to install 2nd copy. | |

| Yeah, I've noticed the 'thinner' thingie too, but as I understand it, the perspective somehow is off while playing a VtMB version with CQM. When I launched it first I just thought 'what did I screw up now?', but it really seems to be that way. Don't ask me what causes this. I thought it would depend on my monitor, but that wouldn't explain why CE, Wesp and even Vanilla versions work fine... well, it's a mystery. Someone call the Tremere. | |

| @Feral: thx worked @Eliza: well same here every mod except cqm has "normal" sizes.. It's really awkward to play like this ~.~ there has to be some resizing mod in it who changes more than it actually should do is my guess^^ | |

| Could the mod possibly have alterred the resolution your game runs at as default? | |

I have a 16:9 resolution monitor. When I run ResPatch.exe (in 'Tools' folder) it asks for the location of my VtMB folder. Maybe it only works for one install at a time? Or can you run ResPatch again, for the second folder, and have it work on both? I've never tried to have two versions on my computer, so I don't know. Maybe you have to run ResPatch each time you switch back and forth from one install to another, so it knows which one you're currently using.

Nope, I checked that as soon as I noticed this odd thingie. I even switched around a bit, checked the CE resolution, set both similar and found out that it didn't change a thing. I don't know the size of my monitor but I'm pretty sure this isn't causing the problem. All other versions of VtMB with whatever mod installed worked fine. Huh. Well, you get used to it after a while, it's just a minor nuisance.

| For multiple installations, I keep my basic installation clean and just make a copy whenever I want to try a new patch/mod. This is faster than having to install it all over again from the disks. After that I install the new mod/patch to the copied directory and create a desktop shortcut manually. And I keep a copy of my autoexec.cfg file and a textfile containing my keyboard setup handy. So after the first start of the new version, when there is a config.cfg, I can just copy my keybindings in and don't have to bother with the keyboard options again. For the resolution problem of cqm, I can't tell you anything. It's been quite some time since I looked into that mod. I haven't even installed v.2 yet. - | |
