PostSubject: A lil problem   A lil problem EmptyMon Sep 20, 2010 8:52 pm

Hey there, guys!
I installed this Camarilla Edition and prepared to play the game (rly excited XD) but a problem appeared. Can't see the movies in the begining, my mouse is not visible when the game menu appears... I just can't understand why this could be happening since I have all system requirement and so on and such problem just shouldn't appear :/
Sorry if this sounds lame, but I'm really not that familiar with computers and such stuff...

Oh, one more thhing that I think might be important... can this mod run on Windows 7 ?

GreenThings,
Morro

Your operating system wouldn't matter, as long as Bloodlines plays fine on the OS then CE 1.4 will play fine too. On a technical standpoint CE doesn't add anything to the game, it just changes things.

On your issue however I'm not sure why this is happening. I can promise that it has nothing to do with CE. What I would do is completely remove CE, then Bloodlines. Go into explorer and manually delete the Bloodlines folder. Then I would reinstall Bloodlines and try running it without any mods or patches. That will ultimately tell you if it's CE related or not.

For running bloodlines with win7, I think there are some infos in the readme for Wesps patch. vtmbup70.txt or something like this. You can find it in your bloodlines main folder if you have installed CE1.4.
Apart from that I can only give the general advice I read somewhere on PlanetVampire: Try compatibility mode for an older version of the os. Can't remember what they were called. I run the game on a vista system and have no trouble.
