| Just did a clean install after a longer break and noticed that 1: Histories is gone? 2: When you're in the "Skill tab" the former round blobs is now squares that's really hard to see and aim at.
Is my installation corrupt or is this normal?

Is my installation corrupt or is this normal? Must be something with your rig. Both vanilla and CE were okay to me. Only the loading times were problematic. What version of Bloodlines do you have? CD or Steam? The CE patch has specific instructions concerning those. Also, try checking your display settings. Is your directX up to date? What about your graphics card driver? What about the autoexec and config cfgs? History is already enabled by default in CE.

What about the autoexec and config cfgs? History is already enabled by default in CE. Hmm just remembered that I might have forgotten to update the normal version of Bloodlines. It's on CD. DirectX is up to date same with my card drivers and it's way beyond the recommended for this game. What do you mean with autoexec, config cfgs? Haven't touched any config file or executive file. EDIT: Working now. Forgot to change the shortcut to the updated one. ^^

EDIT: Working now. Forgot to change the shortcut to the updated one. ^^ Those two files are alright if left untouched. But at one point, you'll want some commands to just automatically execute when you start a game without using the console. That's what they are for. Primarily, they're used to tone down some graphics setting in order for Bloodlines to work better on low-end systems.

| Well, I always edit my config files for a new installation. This way I don't have to set all my inividual keybindings manually in the options menue. This is quite simple: key bindings are at the top of config.cfg and start with the word "bind". If you copy them out into a text file and save it somewhere, after the first start of a new installation you can cut and paste them in and this way don't have to mess with the options menue to get your preferrred keysettings. For me this is essential, as I change a lot of bindings, and some of them aren't even accessible the normal way. Like putting the weapons/disciplines hotkeys to the num pad as well as the normal number keys. - | |

| And, of course, a minimum number of therbligs in the reality coupling tend to optimize jentonic throughput. Or maybe I just don't know WTF you guys are talking about. | |
