| Guess it'd be good to throw most bugs from one area into one thread. At least until they are confirmed to be actual bugs. Anyways I am not entirely sure 'bout this, but are you suppose to receive a Masquarede Redemption for sending the thinblood from the beach to hunt Nines Rodriguez? Because I had. Also, got Malk's lines for the McGee quest, though that've been reported already and I had some texture flashes while walking along hospitals walls, like when I was standing next to a wall and moved the moust I could see the emptyness behind them. Couldn't reproduce it, though, so I think you can safely discard this as nothing important And, lastly, I noticed some new additions like Kilpatrick's new haircut and some new billboards (i.e. on the diner). Nice touches | |

| I noticed some graphic bugs in SM, too. Arthur Kilpatrick apparently doesn't know how to smoke. He exhalates the smoke through his, err, chin. Although he knows how to light a cigarette and where to put it. And there's a girl in the Sunrise Diner that loves pantomime. And she can levitate. She has a can with a drink right in front of her - in the middle of the air - and 'drinks' from her hollow hand. Both issues were reproducable. | |

| The masquerade redemption was originally put there by me, but alot of the community fan members felt that the player shouldn't get a redemption for sending Copper to Nines or LaCroix. I was "overruled" so to speak but forgot to remove it before I released Beta so it was still in there. I've since then corrected this and will be fixed for the next version of Beta.
The Malk line for McGee was reported and fixed already.
The emptiness behind some walls is a graphic engine issue, running in third person view, nothing I can do here.
I'm glad you like the new signs!
-----------------------------------
Arthur smoking out of his chin is another animation/graphical engine bug, nothing I can do here.
Girl in diner floating and drinking from an empty hand are again animation glitches. I added animations to them and it may be an issue with where the animation was placed, up on the curb of the diner bar. I could move them back a little into the main isle but then the player may have a hard time getting to the back of the seats. I was thinking of moving the Killer back a little which would give me room to move those other 2 NPCs. I'll play with this. | |

| My share of Santa Monica bugs.
Balli character has been playied, male, no histories.
Bugs so far encountered include:
1. During the intro, noticable delay of animation to speech was observed, especially regarding LaCroix lips animations and movement. This effect wes not constant throughout the whole intro. 2. Font used for Intimidation in conversation with the male citizen waiting for towtruck outside of Mercurio's apartment was obserwed. Font was red, but regular, instead of red capitals. Use and actions of the forementioned conversation were nonetheless correct and effective, apompting aquisition of money, fancy watch and dissatisfied citizen. 3. After reaching Humanity of 8 a spiral of Humanity losses has ocurred, leading to Humanity 0, nonetheless further play was possible in spite of the character falling to the Beast. Aquisiton of Humanity 8 has happend after providing Mercurio with morphine. It was also observed that entering the building cuts the spiral of Humanity losses during following test plays. Nonetheless situation has happened again after further Humanity gain in conversation with certain Thinn-Blood named Copper, who was explained that vampirism is in fact incurable and inreversible. Occurance of Humaniti falling to 0 with no apparent reason hinders the game considerably, although further play is possible. | |

I meant to try this at the time, but I forgot until this post reminded me. So I just went back to a saved game and re-killed the thugs, and talked to Tourette on the phone. Then I waited for the cops to show up. I let the sirens play their little music for a minute or two, but I never heard that cop on the megaphone telling me to come out with my hands up, blah, blah. When I finally went outside, no cops. | |

| I am in Hollywood, and just went back to Santa Monica for the 'serial killer' quest, after the Luckee Star motel. I tell him he's given in to the Beast, and has to be dealt with; and we start to fight. But he doesn't turn into the Protean warform. He obviously still has the level 2 claws, because I can see them (and because he's doing aggravated damage). So I figure you took out the warform on purpose. Is that correct? | |

This is true, I thought because I made Apep's Semblance that I couldn't have the normal Manbat model and skin anymore, but I thought wrong. Later on I figured out how to have both in the game at the same time, in fact you fight several Protean Manbat shifted Kindred at the end of the game in the streets. It was awesome watching Apep's Semblance vs. Manbat. I could change him back to Protean 5 instead of Protean 2-4, but I kind've liked him with Protean 2-4 instead of 5. Anyone else like or dislike the change? | |

| I thought about it, and it really makes more sense that he just has the claws at that point. 5 dots in Protean is a bit much for some lone serial killer, who can't have been Kindred that long or his prey would've all been old men. His stats are probably unchanged. | |

True BTW, this [censored] problem with downward spiral of Humaity losses continues in Santa Monica. Whenever I got 8 Humanity, few minuts later I get to know how Wassail is like. Humanity 0. In conversation with Vandal after saving Lilly zoning out off the map is immposible, so losses are unavoidable. Had to sell stake to Copper to lover my Humanity before Lilly to avoid that. Result is I play really evil Balli. Looking forward to meeting Strauss. | |

| Here's an odd one:
I went to speak with our little hatter chatter thinblood and went through the motions to send him running, taking the $100 as he left. As the quest updates went through I loss humanity then gained humanity. Not I wonder if perhaps I lost humanity for stealing the guy's money but it seems odd to loose then gain the humanity, why not just stay the same..? | |

| I'm going back over this issue and there are way too many issues in this one post so I'm going to break them up by putting them in new posts, and address them that way. | |

| I haven't got much to play Bloodlines lately (I'm badly burned out on it), but I can't seem to find a place which the prostitute I hired would find "private" enough. I can't feed on her otherwise, because it's treated as a criminal act and all my feed atempts fail. I need the blood badly and I can't seduce any chick yet.
I play a Baali male. | |

| Well, you could just drag her to a dark corner and jump her... she'll try to get away but you can jump her again I think and be successful. Then hide from the police, then go dance and gain back humanity if you lose it. I can't remember if you do or not tho'... | |

Thing is I can't feed on her no matter what, she just kneels there and I get failed attempt each time. I can't seduce her, pay her or force her into feeding. | |

| I agree that they Troika should've had more spots to feed on the street hookers. Right now the only 2 places I know of in Santa Monica that they will willingly allow you to feed on them is in the parking garage (towards the center) and the alleyway a little past the Blood Bank door.
I will see what I can do about creating more triggers in some of the nooks and crannies of SM (and other hubs if necessary) that will allow you to feed freely so that you aren't walking all over trying to find a spot.
In the meantime what you can do to feed on them is this. 1) Walk to a desolate spot with her, away from people. 2) Talk to her and tell her nevermind, release her. 3) When she begins walking away, you can force feed on her without any problems.
If you try to force feed on her while she’s still following you, it will fail every time. Hopefully that helps.
