| Minecraft, people tend to remake pretty much everything. They even remade the entire USS enterprise on a 1:1 scale. Epic. | |

| People can spend their free time doing whatever, I suppose. But using Minecraft as a game engine for V:tM? Not the engine I'd choose... | |

| Probably all of them, Malkav. Which begs the question, is there a DS9? | |

| I can respect the effort involved, but I'm sorry, it looks awful close up. (Guess that's why Minecraft never appealed to me.) If I were going to expend that much effort (hundreds of hours, I'm sure), I'd want it to look better. The only advantage to building something like this in Minecraft is that you can take a 3D trip through it.
To me, it's like an artist saying, "Look at this amazing picture I drew with crayons!" It may be a great picture, but it would have looked a lot better in oils or watercolors; and you end up wondering why the artist chose a medium that didn't look as good.
Never mind. It's very good work. Let's tape it up on the refrigerator and tell him how wonderful it is.

| On another topic... The new kickstarter for v20 has been released.
I just want the st screen so if someone takes the book, make another (or two other) add on for the screen >_> because I find the book and the fact that onyx path is treating us like cows kind of lame. But since it's going to be my birthday soon anyway XD
Companion was a rip off... I though it was going to be just v20, but no they are pushing it all the way >_< and I kind of want to go for it and it is so frustrating...
*puts in all frustration and sadness*

| Since when does WW need a kickstarter to make book?
And mincraft has texture packs that bring it to quite the HD graphics. the current old skool textures are intentional, but the game is highly modable. With the right mods, that ship could end up looking very awesome, albeit still a bit blocky and would probably be a pain to record since it increases computer requirements, and recording on itself is a very CPU intensive task.
But it still is quite the achievement, if you consider the entire ship was made block by block....

| there are some very awesome shading mods out there too for minecraft, that give the game a beautiful extra touch. Though some can get quite heavy and require you to assign more memory to MC. | |

| That's what I mean... very labor-intensive (brick by brick) and still not very detailed, even with the HD mods, which I've seen examples of on YouTube. However, as much time as I've spent on PnP games and Video games, I can't criticize someone for wasting their time on so-called 'useless' stuff. | |

| It's not about conservatism, it's about idiot people being soooo over the top with malkie characters. I don't care much for all sexy or all hoochie, but come on, that's blatant masquerade violation. | |

| Well I have seen girls in similar outfits, the only thing I find over the top is the hair, the way it's curved like that, it would be dragging on the floor if gravity would do it's job. | |

| I just don't see anything in that image that screams "Malkavian" or even "vampire". I see a girl who would be a fairly common sight in Japanese pop culture. | |

| Obviously.
I'm not a fan of Oh Great (the author of Air Gear, but also Tenjou Tenge and loooooots of hentai) but I do like some of their design ^^ And I liked the anime Air Gear (what can I say, I roller skate... a lot)

| Harajuku Cosplay!!
This would not be a Masquerade violation in Tokyo, considering some of the fashions popular there. Lolita fashions would look out of place in most U.S. cities, but not in Europe. Depends on where you are.
However, I agree that over-the-top character concepts like this are a little tiresome when role-playing. The players tend to be more concerned with pointing out how cool and unique their character is, rather than becoming involved in the storyline.
Ghoul bunny? Funny for anime, not for the World of Darkness.

| I've commented back to the author about it being about the oversight... ugh.
*long long sigh*
She even replied back to me, pfft
On another note, that V20 screen looks okay even if those clan concepts Bradstreet did are.. so... off...
