Fred for the most part simply listens after telling his tale.
After Lyle's info on who was in the old chantry with him and Fred, he [Fred] responds with..
Ah, I will try to memorize their names.

Fred then resumes to listening, he smiles at the praise of Theodore and keeps it up until his old family is mentioned which causes him to appear sad.
He simply listens.

Giving it another thought, with inquisitive eyes over the Neonate, the Prince stands and speaks to be heard and understood. He displays a certain amount of his natural charisma and leading skills. There's no doubt he's been doing that for years, decades or even more.
(Gosuin) Very well. This is what is going to happen, and this is what you'll do. Madame Nolveaux, pair up with this childe and inform him of the kind of monster his sire was. We cannot afford other people to switch sides just on whims or because of misplaced loyalty. I take it that you weren't aware of the attacks, judging from your expression.
(Laure) That is correct.
(Gosuin) I see. As Lambert seems to be busy with more important matters (I hope he is..), I entrust you both with listing who is among us and who isn't anymore. We obviously missed something during the last attack and it is time to correct our city's population. Ghouls included. I want an updated list tonight.

Laure nods to the orders given to her and Fred. The Brujah doesn't seem to fully approve but he has next to no choice. Lyle doesn't seem to care. After observing both Primogen, the Prince continues.
(Gosuin) Start with the Toreador clan. Also, try and manage to have primogen Darvault lend his contacts and servants, so he shows himself useful. Motivate him. You can go.

Laure doesn't seem really shocked about her Primogen. She nods again and gives a look to Fred, in case he has questions or ideas. It seems she knows where to find him.

The Tremere Primogen couldn't help a smile seeing Fred's reaction about his Sire. The Prince and Theodore do not hide a certain annoyement about it.
The Elysium Keeper takes him out to the bigger room so they can discuss and leave the elders alone. She indicates him one of the tall tables so they'd both sit. She's patronizing and scolding, but she's also quite warm and passionate.
(Laure) Look, I know you're Robert's childe, but you're not an idiot. Behave like an adult, or else, you'll be never respected as such. Why didn't you tell me that there was an attack, yesterday ?

Fred rocks back and forward slowly as Nolveaux scolds him and appear rather nervous. At least he is out of the room with the other elders.
Terribly sorry for my behaviour, but this bird cannot change his ways of escaping danger without taming through trust and practice.
I again wish to gravely apologize for not informing you of desired information, I admit my own selfish hope took my thoughts first-hand enough to prioritize other endeavours.

Has a clear sense of guilt and on occasions avoids eye-contact, however he is evidently trying to maintain it.

Auspex 2:

The Elders aren't really hiding their discussions, as if it was a minor inconvenience. Children happen.. and they have much more important to do than play gossip. Thank god there are no harpies. Laure lets out a long sigh.
(Laure) Open your eyes and ears, Fred. I know you're smarter than that, if you weren't you'd be dead. You should have told me about the attacks. It's too late now, so don't apologize and move on. You have to see the world as it truly is, that is, accepting that Degrelle was a traitor, that you had nothing to do with that ; or so it seemed. Marie Jourdan and yourself came to help us all. You weren't good at it, but you did come ! And you died for us, for the Camarilla. Be consistent. Your sire was a sick, mean man. It doesn't change who you are...

Fred begins rocking forward and back faster and becomes increasingly hysteric.
He's still holding his head, but nolonger covers the ears.
You're mistaken! It's our fault Robert turned mean, and he was a good man before that most unfortunate night!
Had we only stayed.. Had I only stayed..
Fred's is clearly trying to withhold tears.

Auspex 2, Perception + Empathy 3:

The Toreador frowns and cringes slightly, seeing how she can't appeal to the Malkavian's reason. She mutters some less than respectful words about the moon clan and their craziness, before settling and accepting it as something one can do nothing about. She is clearly annoyed now, as if the reaction was against her, as if she took it personally. After all, she was the one who investigated with the Sheriff about her childe's diablerie, and found out that Robert Degrelle had covered the sabbat nest (of which the diablerist belonged). She's basically the one who brought him to justice and blamed him for the death of her childe.
(Laure) Fine ! Calm down. Will you grow up ? Move on. He betrayed us, he helped the Sabbat into our city, and now he's dead. Ok, now, who have you seen since the attacks ?

Thank you, I truly appreciate the gesture.
Fred calms down gradually.

The first person I met since my return was Miss Vanderstree in Mister Fonscolombes club near the harbor.
After that I met with the good regent at the Old Chantry, along with him was a lady named "Miriel" as I discovered.
Oh and also a prisoner! Can't forget the prisoner. I don't recall the name of the prisoner, only that it was familiar to me somehow.

After that I met with you, who later redirected me to Mister Theodore who in turn directed me to the New Chantry at the hotel where I met with Miss Corinna and Mister Mike and later Mister Tarcius.

From there I went home for the night and did not meet with the Prince, whom I was directed towards, until the next night where I currently am.
Ah! And I also met with the good regent and Mister Theodore today! As well as you, of course.
Who else shall we meet before the morning fire returns to rule?
Fred has stopped holding his head and rocking back and forward, he is also standing upright which is a slight contrast to his usually nervous self.

Laure nods every time she catches a name, or manages to place someone. She listens with care, but it's like she's interrogating the Malkavian.
(Laure) I know Tarcisus is in town. You shouldn't approach him too much.. You didn't live under his reign, but do not even think of giving him an excuse to stay longer than needed. The quicker he leaves, the better. I'm glad Mike is meeting with other Kindred, even if it's the Tremere, it means he's getting over the death of Leon.

She shows a certain compassion, after all, she lived through the same events.
(Laure) The prisoner.. Describe it to me. It's important.

Frederic Vonzel is a average man with long black straight hair and black eyes, with a light Mediterranean skin to his undead state. Fred may remember him from his presentation night, he was Alicia's date and companion.

Ah!
The prisoner had a foreign appearance I believe, I reckon from Spain or possibly an area such as Greece or Italy.
He also had long black hair, black eyes and a Mediterranean skin tone, which was somewhat reduced due to his state as a Kindred.
He is or was also a close acquaintance to Miss Vanderstree and has been at least since the night when Robert presented me and Marie, one a rose and another a night sky!

Last I saw him he was being held in a basement with many pretty lights belonging to the good regent.

If Michael is within line of sight to Fred, he wouldn't notice due to being focused on Laure.

Celine gives a welcoming smile to Mikael as she sees him again. She indicates he could enter the private parts and went back to watch over the mortals and their play.
Laure ticks to Alicia's name. She dislikes her and doesn't hide it. She frowns, not being able to recall that one night. After all Alicia has had many dates and companions.
(Laure).. I'll ask primogen Kersten then. I don't suppose you have any contacts with the Sheriff, do you ?.. We should check in with Jerome, after all, it is his Childe. It pains me to confront him to this again, but it seems we have no choice-


When Laure hears the steps he takes, she gives a look, and stands in respect of a kindred older than her as he passes through the deambulatoire to reach Gosuin's room. The doors aren't closed. Laure signs Fred to stand as well. Sure it been over sixty years but Laure certainly recognized the Tremere. Protocol, with no passion, but at least a generic truthful respect of his age.

As Lyle, Theodore and Gosuin acknowledge Mikael's presence, Lyle offers him a big meaningful smile as if he has just met his savior. Theodore seems much more distrustful about the Tremere, remembering how Tarcisus wanted his head, but doesn't show any aggressiveness or bitterness about it.
(Lyle) Ah Mikael ! Please come in. I need your advice.
(Theodore) Mr. Horsman.

Gosuin makes a brief eye contact with Mikael, before observing again the papers. He's not saying anything against the invitation so he agrees to it. Theodore's salutation is of basic respect, but he stays quite neutral and distant, something Corinna never told he was with her. At least it doesn't seem he has held the struggle they had in the forties against Corinna.

Mikael enters the room with calm. He greets his elders in a very formal, detached way, making eye contact with the Ventrue and the Tremere.
Evening. Prince Gosuin. Regent Kersten. Primogen Jacob.

Prince Gosuin, I came here to report or all the information I've got about the attacker last night, he takes a quick look at the younger Kindred in the room, it seems, however, that my report would be pedantic.

He then walks towards Lyle an offer his hands, palms up, to the Tremere ritual greeting. He doesn't seems as thrilled as Lyle, but he doesn't appear to be sad or angry either. His expression is neutral.
Of course, my Regent. What can I help you with?

Auspex 2:

At any case, if I may be so bold to take the initiative, I have not seen my uncle in quite some time, since Robert was still with us; but I would be more than willing to try to find him.
As the good prince requested that we travelled together to solve the mysteries of the city I will follow you and do whatever may be in my power to assist whatever cause you see to be the most fitting.

Fred makes a small bow as he finishes the last part.
He also seems eager to follow Laure.

Laure seems relieved to see the Malkavian is finally working with her, somehow. She shrugs concerning the Sheriff.
(Laure) I saw him Wednesday here, he was present during the presentations, when.. She gives a smile to Estela as she sees her, and indicates her to Fred, when she came in with information concerning one of his spies. This is why I guess he's unavailable ; he must be working on the Sabbat's threat. I am sure the Prince already left him a message, he'll show himself when he'll be available.

There's no doubt that Laure trusts the Sheriff.
(Laure) I suggest we meet with Gregory Darvault, he was present during the attacks, and while he didn't do anything, he witnessed. And since he is my Primogen, he certainly has first hand information concerning my clan. In the mean time, I hope the Sheriff would have given us any sign of life. If we must, we'll contact Xavier...

Contacting the former primogen and sheriff, the malkavian patriarch, doesn't seem to please the Elysium Keeper, but not because she dislikes him, fears him or else on a personal level, rather because he's too odd for her.

The Tremere Primogen puts the pencil he used to mark the map behind his ear when Mikael approaches him, so he can take his hands. He does so, without losing the smile. He lets go after exchanging eye contact, not wanting to keep formal longer than necessary. He soon reveals why he is so happy to see Mikael.
(Lyle) That's exactly why I'm glad to see you here. Tell them everything they need to hear, because obviously, when the Regent speaks, it must be lies. I'll let you tell them exactly when and how we found that bracelet that was supposed to be on Jacob's domain, among with Vonzel's case.

The Regent seems distracted an instant as he spoke to Mikael. He looks back at Gosuin.
(Lyle) I'm not in for pedantic reports, especially since I already know the tale. I trust Mikael Horsman with these subjects, and his knowledge will certainly be useful as far as war is concerned.

Perception+Alertness>4, Estela:

Lyle saying he's not fan of reports make Gosuin smile slightly, and Theodore smile frankly and openly.
(Theodore) Avoiding responsibilities, right ?
(Lyle) Delegating, please. I have work to do, have to watch over the new media and other blogs ; nobody reads the newspapers anymore.

Theodore lost the smile when Lyle implied Theodore has lost influence about the Masquerade. The Tremere gives back a look to Mikael, then to Gosuin. The Prince nods, understanding, and sets his eyes on Mikael.
(Gosuin) I don't mind the replacement and am eager to hear about this object that seems to cause all this rumpus.
(Lyle) Excellent ! Now, Miss Aguilar, what can I do for you ?

The Tremere Regent jumps on the occasion given by Estela, who seemed to want to talk to him (and even if she didn't, it doesn't matter), to move away with her and let Mikael, Gosuin and Theodore discuss the situation.

Throughout the various conversations happening around her, Estela keeps to herself, her anxious demeanor definitely a far cry from the relative cheerfulness she'd displayed two nights prior. She does however seem to have at least half an ear on them, for her lips curl into a small smile when Lyle so callously claims that anything leaving his own mouth must be nothing but lies.
As Lyle finishes his business with Mikael and turns her attention to her, the young vampire looks away a little before she turns back and begins speaking. “Sorry to interrupt like this. I promise I won't take much of your time, so that you can quickly return to any of the important activities you have yet to perform in here.” A spark of her old self seems to return to the girl, for a somewhat cheerful and mischievous smile appears as she speaks. However, it completely falters when Estela continues speaking, her conflicted emotions sounding through in her voice. “I was hoping you could tell me where Claudia is. She doesn't have her cellphone with her so I haven't been able to contact her.”

auspex 2:

As most mortals are watching the play, Celine walks around and makes sure nobody is out of their place, among with the cashiers and the door openers for the scenery and seats. La Norma's songs can be heard softly in the building.
Celine notices the man walking to her. She nods as she recognizes a Kindred, observes him closely (she's checking for weapons), then leads him upstairs to the Deambulatoire.

Lyle walks out of the Prince's room with Estela to the Deambulatoire, as he responds to her questions. The room stays open, and their occupants are ready to hear all about Mikael's report.
(Lyle) Yeah, yeah "important activities"... You've had some of those too, hm ? He indicates vaguely the paint stains. I'd love to say I don't keep a close eye on my apprentices and don't know where they are every single second, but.. I'd be lying. Why do you need to see her ?

The Tremere gives a quick look to the new comer, looks back and Estela, then looks surprised and gives another look to William. He then connects the dots, and signs he'd be there soon. Seeing this, Laure doesn't mind the young Tremere, but she did take a moment to observe him, to be able to recognize him later.
