Now I see what is going on! Reputation of a file, of course. As the first Beta had, well, some bugs in it, Norton doesn't like the file. It has a long memory. But I recall a form you could fill and send them to clear the name of TFN.

As embarrassing as this is to say, I have no clue how to make a torrent, only use a torrent. If someone here in the community could step up for guys like you and make a torrent for TFN, I would be forever grateful!

I just wanted to drop in and say that I stumbled across TFN while I was surfing the net today and I am very excited about it.
I have played Bloodlines more times than I can remember and I am very much looking forward to playing TFN.

I wanted to drop in and congratulate you on the release, I am sure it is exciting to have this labour of love realized.

i understand you had templates, and that thus things can be quite different and yet parallelism will be able to be struck!

i insist on my biological metaphor, a dolphin's flipper a horse's hoof and a human hand they don't come any more different, but the thing is the first fish that came out of water had a forelimb anatomical plan and from then on all "higher" land dwelling creatures share the same basic anatomical plan!
and also a wing is a wing is a wing, be it insect or bird or bat there is a function to be performed that demands certain structural similarities, and yet theyn don't come any more different!!!

so yeah you had to use a nosferatu template to design a samedi, and there was a role ocupied by toreador that will be also ocupied by ishtarri, but i am sure that playing them will feel such a unique experience that indeed it will feel like playing a whole new clan!!

i have a mind geared to discern patters, and like i made it clear a biologist background, biology degree, so my mind flashed to these similarities even before i started playing, but i am sure when i get down and dirty and start playing them it WILL feel like playing a whole new clan!!!!

I've died about 6 times so far, only in downtown.

I can't play right now 'cause school started again yesterday, and it'll be work for a few weeks from now on, so I'll have to wait at least a month to finally play TFN as it should be played.

Never mind. I'm nonetheless so excited it's finally released! Wohoooow!

Seems nothing is as controversial as the music choices. I have changed them even before applying the res patch, and installing my personal keyboard config.

I like the music. Its very nice walking into clubs and not hearing that same, boring tune over and over. It wasn't even a good tune.

I actually do love the original Bloodlines musics (got them in my mp3 player and my iphone), but I usually play soundless, so I don't get tired of the musics as easy as some did

(Zer0, maybe I should send you the Succubus Club soundtrack, the official VTM CD they released back when techno was in)

Really? I have a few soundtracks on my own mp3 player, but I never considered this game as a source. Cool.

Isolated (the original Asylum song) is very good ! It even played during a CSI episode (by Abby, of course).
Lecher Bitch (the Last Round one) is also quite good for when you need to walk around
(and Caine's awesome for tramway/train/subway riding).

I also have some dialogue lines in the MP3 (cuz hearing Beckett telling you lulz and Strauss's classic "of Course" makes you smile when you're out). I do use some of the ambiance music sometimes too -disturbed and twisted rock, as well as the hubs musics-, but for passive listening ; you know, so you have soft background music.. me gusta !

I won't argue you on wanting a change once in a while. It's just that my taste in music seems not to be everone else's. That's why I built the music system for CE so that it's easy for players to enter their own songs.

Downloaded it finally! Took a while, but it was worth it. Norton had problem when I scanned, but it was based solely on reputation of the file. When I test renamed the installer, antivirus found nothing. Time to play! Well, when I have time...

Hm, this Norton reputation thing sounds like the Inquisition to me:
Somone doesn't like my nose, so they go to the Inquisitor and tell him, I'm a witch. Next thing I know, I'm tortured and burnt on the stake, because suspicion is proof of guilt.

What's funny about it, is that renaming the file(which I did, if only slightly), allows it to pass the bloody test. Though the idea is not the worst, since some files might cause you a problem, if used. Only problem is that it seems to automatically delete the file after it scans it, merely on the possibility.

...and I shout "Hell Yeah!!!". I'm so glad that TCI has brought Bloodlines fans out of the wood work and together again where we can talk, chat, and have fun together online. Not only that, but because of Bloodlines, Claudia has a strong following of online roleplayers right here at TCI!!!
