Trouble with Muggers

Hello, I just wanted to post a quick report here.

I don't know if this is documented or an old bug, but it is new to me.

Just started a new game, Baali, and I mugged the suit just outside of the haven. I got the cash, watch, and more cash, and his little speech. Later I was walking by, and went to talk to him again, and it gave me a masquerade violation as well as a criminal offense.

I think I might remember the criminal offense part because he's calling the cops, whatever, but the masquerade violation doesn't make sense.
