Havens

Hi everybody,
just to make sure, can every player write in the haven section now?

More to the point, are we even supposed to look in there? When I saw a new post, I immediately went there and started to read out of habit. I noticed two posts from Claudia and one from Eliza; but as I read the introduction, I realized that I didn't want to know what they did in there, because I don't like having to keep player knowledge separate from character knowledge. So, after I saw the title of the spoiler ('This is for Tremere only..."), I GTFO.

(sigh) Much easier in PnP, where the Storyteller takes you into another room, or writes a note to the player(s) involved. There, you don't have to worry about keeping yourself honest, because someone else does it for you.

I know! Let's all fly to Bordeaux once a week, for a VtM PnP game!

Okay, maybe not...

Claudia has asked me to open the havens. And since as an administrator, I see the forum a bit different from the normal users, I wanted to know if I have set it up right.
And it makes sense to open up the havens. When a pc acquires a haven, or visits sombody else's haven, the player must be able to read and write there.
Of course it is a good idea to write most of the things that happen there in spoiler brackets, so later visitors can't read what happened there before. (At least not if the player is honest )
I do agree that it would be easier in a normal p&p group to keep secrets secret.

I try to keep the most secrecy in secret, especially when it concerns only one character acting out "alone", but the Tremere chantry had to be opened since I'm having various PCs that should interact there

I figured that's what his question was about. I was just wishing aloud. [Also kind of making a point to others... we probably should not be reading the haven stuff, if we're not there. I plan on putting the spoiler brackets when I talk in a haven, like Childe suggested.)

And no, I'm not buying the tickets Raekel.

.. I can house 6 people at one same time, but I don't guarantee hygiene !

The Spoiler brackets in all posts sounds like a fair compromise
