Grand Theatre - Playroom Monday March 28th 2011

After the mortal play had ended, the Theater was prepared for a unique event : a "trial" (execution?) of one of the Sabbat assailants who was caught in the old Chantry. For some reason, the Tremere turned him in to the Court. The name of the person was given ; Frederic Vonzel. He is no stranger to the city's court as he had appeared a few years during the sixties, presenting himself as a Ventrue.
Gosuin certainly wants an example to be made of him.

Lights are low. Mortals wouldn't move around freely, but Kindred are more used to it. and it's easy for most of them to move around despite the lack of proper lights.
The place is spotless, despite it having just housed a mortal event. But a few scents can be perceived. The scent of rich wealthy members of society who go to the Opera because "that's what they do".

Griffin, Laure and Celine are seemingly talking in front of the stage (not on the stage, in front of it).

William enters the actual theater and looks around, and gives a soft whistle as he leaned on his cane with both hands.
"Wow, talk about old fashioned, I think my grandparents had wallpaper that resembled this... hell I- Ohh front seats, I hope there's blood and stuff."

Nyx didn't take long to follow William. Unlike him she didn't seem to care about the decor instead she made her way to the front row and sat on top of one of the back rests.

William shrugged as he followed Nyx down the stairs and sat next to her, placing his cane on the ground with a sigh.

Fred stumbles into the playroom and gazes over the seats. Once he notes where Nyx and William are sitting he makes his way towards them and sits down without a word.

He seems to be too deep in his own thoughts to care much about anything else.

Mikael arrives

He walks in a very slow and relaxed manner, making his way to the first seats on the row above ground level (these are for plebians anyways), right side. He will sit, take a slow and deliberate look around before turning his attention to a rather old pocket book.

Nyx turned her attention to William when he sighed.

What's eating you?

Her gaze drifted to Fred when he sat before she added:

You too. Did I miss the excitement while talking with the Snakes?

Both Fred and William can see she's mindful of not bashing her knees against them.

ST:

"Anson said I would get a shot at getting some information out of Vonzel regarding the Sabbat and such, I was looking forward to it but it never happened, now that we reched his final moments, I doubt it is still going to happen." He gave a smile at Nyx, "I even sharpened my scalpels and cleaned my electric cables and.... other tools."

Nyx couldn't help but give a small smile.

Sounds like you had quite the party planned.

She leant closer to William and continued to speak in a slightly lower tone so not to be over heard by others in the room.

William & Fred:

William looks at ease when he turns his head to Nyx.

Nyx, Fred:

While talking in an inaudible tone to Nyx for listening outsiders, he plucked a piece of dust from his vest.

Everyone is taking different seats as if nothing, whispering comments and speculations of tonight's "play".
Duncan and Miri sit on the side, after all, they're expected to be called (and I'm poking the players ^^).

A few others that weren't in the Deambulatoire come up, hoping it's not too late for the "festivities". While they do so, Celine, Laure and JP move apart from each other to walk around ; maybe they are checking or taking notes of who is where and why. Jean-Pierre leaves the room through the entrance.

Fred seems to ignore his surroundings, sitting quietly as he ponders upon whatever's on his mind.

Jerome arrives and settles not to far away from the entrance, seemingly lost in his own thoughts.

Jean-Pierre's walking near the entrances and different doors around the playroom, even those behind the stage, the hatches.

Felix steps inside not long after Jerome does. He glances towards his sire for a moment before looking elsewhere, seemingly to distract himself. He spots Jean-Pierre and seems to almost instinctively fall into step behind the other. It's clear that he making no effort to hide his presence, and does seem to be looking for some way to make himself useful or helpful.

Jean-Pierre ignores the presence at first, checking calmly certain places before giving a glance, and letting the Toreador follow him and eventually giving him an instruction as he seems to eager to help.
(Jean-Pierre) Pay attention if you can hear any animal hidden..

His eyebrow raised slightly in confusion. "Is there some sort of infestation here that we need to worry about?" He asked as he began moving closer to the walls to listen.

ST:

The Tremere Harpy kept silent an instant, before wording, low and mindful that the Toreador is probably using his Auspex Discipline.
(Jean-Pierre) I will let you take back that stupid question and think about what can Kindred do with Animals.

Felix:

He recalled being told of a vampiric power that allowed such a thing, but powers weren't supposed to be used in Elysium. However, before he countered that statement, he recalled what he was doing and what he had witnessed a few others during earlier in the night and decided that it was best to not speak of it again.

Instead, he listened and paused for a moment before he spoke quietly.

Griffin, spies:

The Harpy listens with interest what the Toreador has to say. He then approaches the wall so listen as well, and nods to confirm the information. He signs Laure across the room, and indicates her the wall, before continuing to walk as if nothing. He uses his cane to lift the hatches, and continues conversation as if nothing.
(Jean-Pierre) Probably the Venerable's eyes and ears. Mrs Nolveaux will find out once she has caught one of them.

He indicates the stage over to Felix, before continuing what seems like a meticulous check of the room's accesses.
(Jean-Pierre) Have you seen the Opera before?

ST:

He followed behind Jean-Pierre, giving a slight nod, though he wasn't entirely sure of who or what the Venerables were, but assumed that it didn't matter much at the moment. Felix looked to the stage as indicated.

"I have attended a performance in this theatre once, but it was not the same production that was scheduled this evening." He explained before his gaze shifted towards the Harpy. "Are you, perhaps, a fan of the Opera, Master Harpy?"He asked.

Taking a break from his reading, Mikael stands up and take some time to look at the Kindred already in the Playroom. He spends some time looking at those below as they go about their business.

ST:

After a while, he sits back again and re-opens his book.

Auspex 2:

Griffin vaguely nods when asked.
(Jean-Pierre) "Mr Griffin" like before is fine.. I used to appreciate Opera.

He implies he doesn't anymore.
(Jean-Pierre) You probably won't enjoy tonight's proceedings, but the Prince is an intelligent man who will probably give some pedagogy to this turn of events, as there are many neonates in town and present. It will surely be instructive.

After a moment, Igor comes out of the other side of the Theater, along side with Laure. She signs over at the Tremere Harpy, who nods back, and then indicates it to Felix.
(Jean-Pierre) Your first sewer spy. Good job.

With the guilty looks to Laure, eventually Igor moves around to sit in the Theater, a bit disappointed he was caught.

Armand and Eric are sitting at the back of the room, discussing between themselves. They seem fairly excited about a plan of some sort.
Neve is discussing with Gregory Darvault about something, nothing too serious it seems. They're sitting in the last third of the seats.
Lambert and Xavier are both discussing with Alicia Vanderstree, standing next to one of the side entrances for the playroom.
The Venerable looks like a red head viking with way too much body hair. He's standing right next to one of the spectator entrances of the playroom, against the wall, not bothering nor doing anything.
Marc and Suzanne are discussing with Urbain, closer to the center of the room, sitting as if nothing, while Franz is in conversation with Docteur, near another side entrance for spectators.

Mikael:

"Sorry."He said softly as he glanced away from the other, saying nothing more on the subject.

"I would be lying if I said that I was looking forward to it. My sire did say that we could leave for the evening before it, but I worry that I may miss some word of importance afterward." He admitted in his typical nervous fashion before he glanced towards his seated sire.

He seemed surprised that the Nosferatu was caught, but was even more surprised by the praise of the Elder. "Is that a common occurrence in Elysium?"He asked.

The Tremere Harpy can't help a smirk, before walks around the stage obviously expecting the Toreador to follow.
(Jean-Pierre) Don't worry about the Nosferatu. He's doing us a favor by forcing us to stay attentive. Spies? It's not uncommon. If it's our side, then at least they deter enemies.

Griffin doesn't sound like it's too much to worry about as long as the causes are found and are verified.
(Jean-Pierre) And you are right to listen to your worry and your fear, yet there are necessary evils we must face. Mr Lehin wishes for the best yet he should think with his head and not his heart sometimes. Are there more rodents around here ?
