Hmm, perhaps a small favor or two could be done for Jacob, possibly via Duncan. This might make them more willing to lend us their aid. If we find out what their current goals are we should be able to pick one or two small ones that will benefit us and endear them to us. What Riki has to say might colour things but it might not be needed. We just need to make it so that it is, politically unwise, to back the bitch. With the current happenings this might not be too difficult. What we really need right at this moment is someone who is good at starting and spreading rumor. We know the whore is after an artifact of some kind, so it needs to be implied that the Sabbat attacks are actually her way of looking for the thing. Once that is going even her supporters will back away for fear of being contaminated. Heck, it might even be true.

Nyx doesn't really emote to the news one of her own has died. She paused for maybe a fraction of a second before asking her next question.

It was very evident the Nosferatu had delt with death of those she has known before. She's cold almost to the point of boredom.

When Neb continues on about the Giovanni she allowed him to finish before adding in her pennies.

(Emilio) I don't know if Jacob would accept such boons from us directly. Asking Duncan might be a good idea. I don't think the Feminist club cares for political backlash, but for that you could ask details to Franz. Calamity Jane doesn't give a shit about her reputation, and neither did Tania or Natacha. Bitches stay true to their convictions.

That's deterrent enough for Emilio not to want the Sheriff implied, but he adds other reasons.
(Emilio) He doesn't like us independents much and I would like to avoid any political backlash from him and from the Prince. After all, Gosuin likes us for now. As for the rumors.. I guess Claudia's a nice start. Her clan lied about his whole object thing, so if we don't spoil their lie, she'll agree to help us h. And she could even find out about the Women's club in a way so she loses that support..

He gives a glance at Neb. There's another reason, "she owes us", but he doesn't say it.

I will find out if there are any favors that I can do for Duncan. I will also talk to Claudia. I will tell her she can adjust things so that it does not disturb her plans. I think she will agree to it. Neb looks thoughtful. Yes, women do tend to stay true to their convictions to a point. However, particularly with society snobs like that lot, they can be turned to infighting and then to all out catfighting very quickly. All that needs to be found is the right lever.

Emilio shrugs at Nyx's question.
(Emilio) Maybe. You'll have all my info afterwards.

He smiles at her: clearly he wants her to agree to the job first, that means, first talking to Doctor. But this non-answer may give a clear hint that indeed, it was a redcap.
(Emilio) You'll have to test the waters yourself, I guess. I'm too involved and don't want to taint the whole thing.

At least he's smart enough. If he were to approach Theodore or Suzanne himself, it would be counterproductive to his goal, which is why he's asking the nosferatu and his childe. They have the benefit of the doubt.

Nyx gave a tisk of disapproval at his response.

Emilio just pulled me to one side. Looks like he knows what happened to Momo and got it on tape. He wants the clans help to get the Giovanni woman, seems she has information on an artifact or something in exchange he'll give us the recording.

(Docteur) Understood. Many of us already work with the Setites.. We need to take action for what happened to Momo. I have the feeling he is deceased, but we must find out the truth... For the clan's sake. Is the Giovanni useful to us alive?

He doesn't seem to know really, and hopes his clanmate can answer him.
(Docteur) You know, you don't need to report to me for every decision. My role is to handle the diplomacy with higher instances.

I know I don't, but this is a job that could leave us at a disadvantage down the line, he wants that artifact and so do the newbies. Eventually this could leave the clan having to choose sides and so far I know the Tremere newbie has told the others to keep me in the dark about it. If I had an answer I would just do something without asking but I'm sure you can appreciate what this could mean, I mean eventually they'll ask to get into our territory. 

Probably she is yeah, if I can get in on the interrogation we may be able to get there first but I can't do that alone. Maybe Emilio won't even let me in on that which means we'll be totally in the dark.

Emilio pretty much outright told me that Momo is dust... And that he saw it...

His uncaring may be an act, as he is very attentive.
(Docteur) You could always give them the decoy, if I understood well the situation. I'll adapt to whoever you choose to support, but you might just as well talk to the Tremere newbie about it and get something out of him ; I promised I'd help them through the cellas if Momo's situation was cleared regardless, and if they want through, they'll do it under our conditions.

He pauses a brief instant before adding.
(Docteur) As for our own position, we have little if no stakes as far as the Giovanni and Snake war is concerned. This isn't public. Of course it's not public, that, in truth, the Nosferatu don't give a shit. But information, and non-information is power.. The Giovanni do not make deals with us, while the Setites do, which makes me tend to favor the snakes over the Giovanni. However if I understood you right, I would guess Emilio and the other Snakes would make sure to have unflinching alibis. You'll certainly be able to talk the others into having some time with the streetwalker.

He lets out a final word about Momo. He sounds compassionate enough, even sad that indeed the Nosferatu is dead.
(Docteur) I had guessed so..
