Actually it was more of a polite rejection than an offer. Nosferatu aren't exactly known for being seductive.

As for the fine print, acroding to my research a friendship seems to be some kind of mutually beneficial relationship in which both parties act amiably towards each other and occasioanlly provide assistance to each other.

We could also go for a simple "you let me scheme in peace, I let you scheme in peace" deal.
