Bertrams items -- no bug

I have the photo and CD, Enigma as well; I can't put the CD in the mailbox, and "he doesn't pick up" the photo. No dialogue lines to give him the briefcase.
I haven't redeemed the Akeem quest.

EDIT: No ties to Akkem q. Mails are gone (though that is correct I suspect).

You must have the cd about your character when you delete the cathayan's reports. Only then do you get the copy and delete function on the computer. When that is done, you get a quest update + 1xp.
Then when you have picked up the two items from downtown, you go back to Bertram and personally hand him all 3 items...
