Any upgrades to heather would be welcome. but I kinda like her in the semi-useful state she's in. It's a nice change of pace to have someone who actually cares about you instead of only wanting you to do things for them.

it sounds kinda half assed, but could you do a none-voiced dialog?

you add the text and a silent sound file, that way you can add new lines without having to find a voice actor not ideal i know but...

as for the blood stains, can you create static items? if you can you could make a floor textured flat sheet-thing to go over them

no idea if this will help, i never modded anything in my life.

Certainly I could do a dialog without the npc actually speaking. But I wouldn't want to play a game like that.

well, like i said, its not ideal, but for one or two lines, at the end of a "free heather" quest, or just a line you cant "frankenstein" together out of existing soundbytes. then it would be passable,

if you dont overuse it then i doubt i would even notice, i read too fast so i tend to skip to the next line about halfway through the voiceover anyway. except for smiling jack, because hes fucking awesome

and with any mod you have to accept that you wont have soundbytes for everything, you just have to make do, (or make em yourself)

Every time you open your mouth, your risk having someone critisize what comes out of there. If you can't handle that, then there are some very lucrative things you can use your mouth for, that don't involve speaking.

I agree! I year or so ago, I tried to reinstall VtMB with a patch and it would just crash. I played for a while with 1.2, but having seen the goodies available, it was hard to do without them. CE has run smoothly and been a blast so far.

I know nothing of modding, but from the conversation about Mercurio's hallway, I'm guessing Heather can't redecorate your haven. I guess I'm thinking of it in terms of changing skins or the equivalent of changing wallpaper in The Sims. No, huh? Oh well.

My biggest complaint with Heather is that I can't be nice to her. I disagree with many of the earlier opinions; I think she does a lot for you. She drops out of her life, moves into your filthy apartment, and is willing to kill for you. Considering all this, I would much rather say, "Would you show me some of your fashion design ideas?" instead of, "Your appearance, change it."

You can tell her something like that but she just doesn't want to, saying her life is now only about the PC.

I just meant I wanted a nicer way/altered wording to ask her to change her appearance.

That's no trouble, if there are free lines in the dialog file. If I change something in that part of the dialog, I need enough free lines to allow for asking friendly, doing it the way it is now, and treating her like crap.

I think the dialog for changing her clothes should be specialized... for instance, if I ask the question (or make the statement really) "Heather, when I return I want to spank you!" When I return she should be dressed in leather.

I laughed for hours picturing the yellow letters in the game with the option to say that, she would surely be shocked, I mean she doesn't like when you just ask her to change her appearence Imagine her reaction when you say that to her, great idea.

What else? Pink furry handcuffs on the bed?
Or perhaps ghouling that guy she brings in as well, so the pc can produce porn videos for a bit of extra cash
