I actually enjoy reading when it's a physical book we're talking about. I can easily read for hours if the book interests me (speaking of LOTR, the first time I read that I read the entire triology in 3 days). But on a computer screen? Not so much.
I might look at that OOC section, but no promises.

I used to read the Hobbit + LOTR trilogy every year, although I usually skipped over the boring parts -- pretty much all of the stuff they left out of the LOTR movies, plus the language lessons.
Unfortunately the 3 Hobbit movies are the other way around... not only are they leaving in the boring parts, they're adding extra crap to make 1 book into 3 movies. WTF, Peter Jackson?

There's some of that XD But it seems they're making the hobbit trilogy to include events from other side books... since the hobbit takes reference to them >_>

Yep, a whole movie just to cross the mountains. At that pace, even Smaug himself has passed away from old age by the time they reach the lonely mountain.
