Since taking her seat, Miriel has continued to stay overwhelmingly silent. She shoots stoic glances around the room, lingering on Lambert as he sneaks, then to each party as they whisper or shout or trade members.

Listening to the deliberations in the room ripen into a paranoid sort of resolve does little to soften her expression, though she had paid Duncan a charitable smile for his conservative take on Vonzel's fate. She doesn't choose to speak up against it, but she also did not congratulate him for equating the finality of the prisoner's death as an act of altruism.

Duncan:

She offers a true smile only after Bowens has decided to suspend his vote in favor of gathering more information, though it is a half smile.

Duncan, Nyx, Fred, spies spying really, really hard (so hard, they're staring at microexpressions):

Well, she says with a sigh, stretching, Now that the pressure's off, I guess I'd better make it up to some of the new kids. By her volume, she meant for Duncan to hear and decide whether to follow. She stands from her seat and regards him warmly before moving to where Felix and Jerome are, arranging herself comfortably nearby. She doesn't necessarily wait for them to acknowledge her.

And just like that, she snaps her finger, pointing into the wing where Laure, William and the Sheriff take Alicia to, we swarm another. She realizes she's been looking down some imaginary gunsight made out of her gesturing hand and lowers it, glancing instead between Jerome and Felix as she dials back the gravity with a thoughtful shrug, I hope it makes things clearer.

As Eric's words are challenged, one of the foreigners still standing close to the door makes a small involuntary movement, her eyes boring into the back of Nyx's head.

She is a tall woman appearing to be in her late twenties. Leaning against the wall near the entrance in a relaxed position she is sporting an elegant and close-fitting three piece velvet suit, dark brown with dark gold accents, a brown floral pattern running on the golden waistcoat. The creation is a mix of extravagant and classy and somehow manages to balance within boundaries of good taste despite its eye-turning cut. And the woman within the suit has a comely enough shape to turn eyes, slender and feminine. Her dark blonde hair is braided high, with a few loose short curls let free to frame the left side of her face. From this distance her features may not be very visible, but those gifted with preternatural perception would notice it is pretty in its regularity, but not really in an impressive way. That is, not impressive with the exception of her striking green eyes, which follow the happenings attentively, embracing the scene with their discernining gaze.

She frowns and looks disapproving for a split second at the Nosferatu's words... Until the Toulusian Ventrue answers the comment nonchalantly, waving it away with the support of the local prince at which the woman's face reverts into its former expression of neutrality. She looks on at the unfolding scene with interest and a spark of amusement playing in her eyes. When Alicia is taken away she shifts her weight to give herself some momentum as she detaches herself from the wall and walks over to stand behind Eric and Armand. Her pose an image of polite expectation as she adjusts a gold watch on her left wrist, visibly not wanting to disturb the two Ventrue, yet waiting for their attention to switch to her on its own.

The mumbles and whispers are too loud for anyone to be able to spy on conversations through higher hearing. (Also please, auras, people ^^)

Laure Nolveaux quickly followed the Sheriff after an obedient nod to her Prince. She didn't even bother to glance at William, but she heard him joining them. They went off backstage, and seemingly to one of the artist lodges. Gregory moved to follow them but finally renounced when he shared a glance with the Prince and they talked briefly, covered by the echos in the Theater room.

Doctor just shook his head in denial at what Nyx told him, he took his hand off of her and left her to talk to others.

Duncan kept observing the situation with a neutral face for a while before letting Miri know he will meet with his Primogen instead without a word. Fred did exactly the same after putting on his beanie, seemingly alarmed by everything around him, which seems to be a somewhat normal state for him. He moved in to talk to Xavier instead of his Primogen.

Jerome welcomes Miri with a slight but welcoming smile.
(Jerome) The circumstances aren't the best, alas. Felix, this is Miriel de Boucher of our clan. She was with Duncan Oliver, Brujah, over there with Primogen Jacob, and Fred, who is Malkavian and is talking to Xavier. Miri, this is Felix Sommier, my childe. As for your question.. I doubt it. Blood is strong but Alicia's stubbornness just might make it difficult. I think.. we should leave. I have a favor to ask you both.

Claudia seems quite interested in the two Setites next to her as she's talking to them, but even from afar anyone can tell she's tense. Emilio on the other hand looks relaxed and interested.

Eric and Armand are quick to acknowledge their peer, both with a friendly smile. Eric invites her over with a slight hand gesture.

She smiles back in answer to her interlocutors' friendly demeanour and steps closer to join the conversation.

Whatever Doctor said to her it made her smile.

Doctor & Spies:

Once Doctor had left she sat down on the back rest feet planted firmly on the seat. She seems open enough for anyone to come speak with her but doesn't move to engage with a particular group, content to just observe for now.

Auspex 2:

Corinna observes how Alicia is led off the stage by the Sheriff, her lips pressed together tightly. She gives a nod to William as he leaves, then turns back to Griffin.

Her eyes sweep the room, briefly lingering on the stage, before she looks at her clanmate again.

The Librarian crosses her arms in front of her chest, taking a moment to gaze off into the distance in thought.

Neb stands up, running his fingers over Claudia's hand one last time, nods to Emilo, then makes his way over to where Nyx is seated. He takes a chair close to her and leans in.

The Nosferatu primogen left after a brief glance at Nyx, letting her know he had heard her

Nyx waved bye-bye to her Primogen as he departed. Her hand was quick to slide into her satchel and pull something out resting it in her lap.

She glanced up when Neb got closer but said nothing waiting for him to step close. When the Setite was seated he was forced to look up at the Nosferatu as she remained perched on the back of the chair.

Neb:

The Nosferatu listens carefully to his words and takes a moment to mull over her response.

Neb & Spies:

Neb leans back in his seat some but keeps his voice low.

Nyx, spies:

Whatever the Setite said made the Nosferatu smile.

Neb:

Neb smiles.

Nyx, spies:

Nyx's smile broadened the longer Neb spoke, it was quite a disconcerting sight mingled with the blood shot eyes that observed the Setite.

Neb & Spies:

Neb smiles and looks Nyx right in the eye.

Nyx, Spies:

Nyx openly stares back, maintaining the eye contact.
