| William gave Igor one of his trademark raised eyebrow stares as the man pestered Rufus, and then, studied the strangers that had managed to blend in until recently. He took out his phone and scrolled through it, then frowned, looking annoyed. "It appears there are more Kindred to Bordeaux than I was aware of, I thought the area was one of the smaller court communities." | |

| Gosuin moves from his clan mates to greet another man in the room. They shake hands. Theodore lets Duncan to go meet with other Brujahs. Victor goes to sit on the stage, taking one of the small bones of the deceased Raekel Montalbain, and observing it with interest. Gregory observes Felix's face with detail while he gives his opinion and asks him about Jerome. He makes a dismissing hand movement.(Gregory) Fledgling's opinions can always shine an interesting new light on an issue we're too jaded to observe. Jerome taught you about the Traditions, so I would like for you to put it into practice tonight. He thinks about his question concerning Jerome, as if trying to put pieces of information together. Satisfied with what he understands from it, he nods and smiles, weighing invisible arguments. He shows a certain amount of pedagogy while he explains.(Gregory) Ah. I see. No, I do not think so, but that doesn't mean you would have survived. Mortals are peons in our chessboard as well as our cattle. If you had become a nuisance around him, or too much of a pillar for him, others would have found an interest with your disappearance. I'll clear a couple of hours in my agenda for us to discuss this a little further if you will. He moves to stand.(Gregory) I have others to see. Please think about the Traditions and what Vonzel's actions involve and whether he should live or die, as well as why. To anyone observing it's clear Griffin is more annoyed than usually. He talks with his clan mate Ansons in a still very low voice, seemingly a serious discussion.- Corinna, spies and Latin:
(Jean-Pierre) As much as I respect Regent Kersten's position and his skill, sometimes I just want to slap him.
An honest frustrated truth. He glances over around, and goes on. (Jean-Pierre) Hopefully Magister Horsman's temporary promotion won't harm the clan on the long run. We have enough enemies. Adriano Guicciardini is still here. He indicates the Toreador. But there are also a few others of Toulouse. Considering the latest arrivals right now, there must be a few Parisians present as well. He indicates Gosuin and the man he's shaking hands with. The Archon sent by Villon, maybe...
Rufus growls at Igor and moves to the other side of the box, while Igor keeps pestering the Gargoyle, begging, before the Nosferatu gives up and moves away with a defeated slow pace.
Emilio discusses with Claudia and Neb, interested.(Emilio) So what's the plan for after this, hm?

| Nyx rolled her eyes when Igor ran off but did nothing to stop him.- Doctor :
You mean it's what Vigo wants.
She almost spat his name out but she wasn't being aggressive towards Doctor.

| He listened to Gregory, seeming still a but uncertain about it all. As the other stands, he nods."Thank you, Sir. I will think on it."
He let Gregory leave to deal with other, more important Kindred before he too, stood and slowly made his way towards the back. All the while his gaze is downward, no doubt to avoid catching the glance of one of the newcomers as he made his way towards his sire. Once nearby, he said nothing, but did raise his eyes to try and catch Jerome's.

| - Nyx, spies:
Doctor didn't seem too annoyed by Igor's sudden leaving, he almost makes a "blah let him be" gesture. (Docteur) This goes beyond even him. We'll have to talk about this later on.
It's his way to agree it seems.
Doctor puts his hand on Nyx's arm, slowly and briefly, and leaves her.Claudia gives a glance at Emilio, then at Neb. She answers the older Setite with a smile.(Claudia) After clan reunion I'll try and show Neb around a little. Jerome looks calm enough, but he's observing around with keen eyes. He matches Felix's eyes, and with a hand move, invites him closer. He indicates Gregory who is walking to meet with Alicia.(Jerome) What do you think of this?

| Nyx grabbed Doctor's arm jerking him back quite aggressively until she could whisper something in gis ear.- Doctor:
He's important, he needs to live. Don't listen to him.
It goes unspoken but she's clearly calling Vigo out on his dictation of the clan even though he's stepped down as primogen

| Corinna gives a slight shake of her head after Griffin's first words, but doesn't speak until he's finished.- Griffin, Linguistics Latin + Actively Spying:
"Well, it's his right not to inform us. We can't interfere with his plans if we don't know anything, after all." Her voice, a whisper, seems to be relatively uncaring, as if stating facts, but she doesn't like what she says anymore than he does. "I'm sure he's doing all that he can to get us back into a steady position! With all this chaos in the city and Regent Kersten's disappearance, Regent Horsman has a lot to take into consideration, and his position isn't an easy one." The Librarian obviously felt a great need to defend Mikael, and only now pauses for a second to consider her words more carefully. "The Archon aswell? This would be worrying. Prince Gosuin is obviously putting on a show not only for the new Arrival's benefit. Do you think this means they suspect an immediate attack? Or more spies in the city? Oh, all of this is developing into a real mess."
The Tremere studies the visitors for a moment, then looks back to Griffin as if waiting for an answer.

| As invited, Felix moved closer. He glanced towards Gregory, then back to Jerome. "That it has very little to do with me. This is a vote by elders, a fledgling has no place in it. Were I older, I am certain that I would better understand it, but for now, the question may as well be in Greek. I neither understand it or have any idea of the ramifications of my answers." He seems a little frustrated as he lets out a breath through his nose like a sigh, out of habit. Then he leaned closer and spoke rather quietly. - Jerome, spies:
"I understand that the individual in question was involved in that event I keep hearing about, the attack. If our prince has already killed one of the two, then I doubt any further information would be able to be obtained, and I do not think any of the elders want to risk letting the individual remain. The individual in the box is going to cease to exist one way or another, no matter my opinion. The only actual surprise left to be had is how. It is that idea that I find the most disturbing, how very calm and almost friendly this matter of public execution is being spoken of." He raised his eyes to meet Jerome's.- Jerome, spies:
"Though, I suppose maybe I'm the only one who is bothered by it."

| Doctor lets himself be stopped, and he listens, oddly calmly. Once she's done speaking, he takes her hand off of him, and keeps it in his. He whispers back to her. - Nyx, spies:
His grab of her is a bit painful. 1 bashing wound (I've rolled roak) please. His tone is very defensive, but he's willing to listen. (Doctor) Why is he important? The Ventrue will behead him for prying into their clan anyway. Why do you him to live?
Jerome listens in, observing sometimes him, but most of the time the others present. He can't help a smile about the Greek comment, he fully gets it. He speaks as quietly.- Felix, spies:
(Jerome) It only seems logical to think that Vonzel is as good as dead. However, he is fully bond to Alicia Vanderstree as I've understood, so is he really Sabbat ? He may be a traitor to his own sect. It's a good opportunity for Compassion and our Primogen jus might want to show disagreement against the Prince's initial wishes.
He makes a brief pause, glances back at Felix to match his eyes, and goes on.- Felix, spies:
There's a true despair in his tone and behind his eyes. (Jerome) Many are bothered. It's disturbing to me as well, and I'm sure we're not alone. Some are just better at hiding it than others... If he asked for your opinion he had his reasons. Don't doubt his judgment.
Amused, the Tremere Harpy talks to his clan mate with interest.- Corinna, spies, Latin speaking:
(Jean-Pierre) I pity Ma- Regent Horsman. Even if you informed him of how the Chantry has evolved over the years, he'll have to open Pandora's Box when he gets to Regent Kersten's decisions over the last decades. Either he studies and understands those decisions, or he runs it as he wishes regardless of the break we've had for the last seventy years.
Either option seem unacceptable for him, but he doesn't judge. Jean-Pierre understands it's an no-answer problem. (Jean-Pierre) Some truths need to be reminded to everyone.. It's either that or Prince Villon is looking for a breach wide enough for him to take back the city in his favor, with the agreement of the Camarilla. Prince Gosuin is trying to save his neck, metaphorically or not. Power-hungry leeches...
His opinion of his fellow Kindred isn't very high.

| Felix visibly hesitates, in speaking, thinking over the matter more carefully before he responds.- Jerome, spies:
"I admit, I know little of these bonds, but is there some way that we can test if they exist or not? Is so, the bond is obvious, if not, then the individual is a risk. Better to know and be sure than to destroy potential allies."

| Jerome speaks back to his childe with a grave nod.- Felix, spies:
(Jerome) Prince Gosuin said the mutual bond was confirmed by several sources. I would guess the Tremere conducted the test while he was in their care. Blood reading is their thing. That's probably what the Prince and Miss Ansons were discussing earlier in his private office for so long... I'd say Alicia confessed to it before she'd be called out on it. Destroying him would also mean either freeing her from her bond, or earning her an enemy if there was actual love.
All guests seem and act peaceful enough. Some have very neutral or serious behavior to themselves, but their etiquette is impeccable. This abyssan vision could scare off those who are fully aware of a kindred's capacities. How come they don't all tear each other apart? What is keeping such monsters so civil? The act is terrifying.

| Nyx remained still in his grip it looked to the casual observer as though she was just being held.- Doctor:
He can hear her growl, her beast not appreciative of the damage but she didn't move to stop him in anyway, just clasping his hand as best she could with the damage he was causing. This wasn't a first for her, he knew her past well enough to know men had hurt her before.
It's predictable, that's not acceptable. Torture isn't effective; any answer to make it stop. Bind him to the primogen, he could still have useful information, you just don't know for sure. When he's useless make him vanish.

| The quietness of the others present isn't lost on Felix, who looks rather nervously at the group before he looks back to Jerome.- Jerome, spies:
"Do you think maybe, this incoming group is going to start attacking if he lives, or dies?" He seems a bit worried as he looks back towards the stage, uncertain over things.- Jerome, spies:
"I know this Kindred may have been involved with problems, but if he has such a bond that allows him to be trusted, allowing him to be killed would be monstrous."

| The Nosferatu Primogen just releases slowly the hand of his clan mate, while they discuss something that looks fairly important to them.- Nyx, spies:
He lets go of the hand, very slowly, he even looks apologetic. A bad reflex it seems. (Docteur) He's bond already, to the Toreador Harpy. If he survives, what will the other do? It's a hazard the clan can't take.
He seems to think about it. Obviously Death wouldn't be his own choice either, but he admits it's something too dangerous just to set free and give the benefit of the doubt. (Docteur) I'll.. I'll vote for a blood hunt. He must leave this city forever and god have mercy if we find him again. Hopefully the Harpy will leave with him.
Jerome shrugs at Felix's questions. It seems he can't tell either way.- Felix, spies:
(Jerome) If Alicia was all clean and sound, maybe, but her loyalties only lay in herself. We can trust no one, not even those on our side of the fence. If I were sure she was loyal, trustworthy and honorable, I wouldn't hesitate, but she is smarter than that. Will she turn Sabbat, if he lives? if he dies? Should they both die for sleeping with the enemy ? She is confident she's safe...
Obviously Jerome thinks Alicia is in danger since her bond to the Lasombra was revealed. There's a certain compassion in Jerome's voice, but it's clear he measures the tragic choices that could happen tonight.

Some of our brothers are loners, other are recently awaken.
Most of what you're seeing though, are Prince Villon's men. You have heard of him, I suppose? Vampire King of all France. Well, almost all of France. Two jewels are missing on his crown.

| Technically speaking he is also missing Nice, on the far south east of France, but Nice is "Italian anyway". And Corsiga, but Corsiga is a goddamn island full of terrorists. And also the overseas territories, but "that's not part of France anyway, damn colored people, they're what's left of our precious Empire". (see CGP Grey's videos on the EU and borders). | |

| - Doctor:
Though Doctor had let her go she still held onto his hand with her damaged appendage.
C'mon surely all the blood of the primogen is stronger than some piss arse Harpy?
She obviously only has a basic understanding of generation and blood but is applying logic of the collective is stronger than the single vampire.
How are we supposed to bleed information out of him if he's got a blood hunt on his head? Let him be useful and when he isn't then get rid of him.

| The neonate seemed unsure, looking towards the stage before he looked back to his sire, and then towards the newcomers.- Jerome, spies:
"Is there anything that we can do at all? I don't want to see potential allies hurt, but can we afford to risk that they might be our enemies?"

"That's the king of France? I wouldn't wish to be the prince at the moment." William's facial expression had been blank with nothing to keep his interest of keep him busy. As if without something to focus on, he just spaces out. His eyes suddenly settled on the general direction of the Nosferatu before slightly turning his face once more to Mikael.- Mikael, Spies:
- Attention +2:
William appear to be typing on his phone while holding it downwards without a single issue or glance at it.
"Regent, would it be possible for me to read Lord Tarcisus' work on the general stages of decay a kindred's body undergoes during and post final death relative to it's age? My sire advises that he is one of the foremost experts on the field and has a renowned published work about it."

| - Mikael:
Tarcisus wrote many books and research methods on Thaumaturgy. The book William is mentioning is probably one he worked on in the 19thc when he began studying the results of kindred dying, and how their decomposition could be related to their age, gender, clan and/or generation. Mikael knows the original stayed in Bordeaux' library, so it must be in the new chantry's library.
Jerome seems to deny whatever Felix is telling him, but he's open and listening.- Felix:
(Jerome) We'll always choose to avoid a potential threat rather than gain a potential ally. We don't need the benefits but we can't afford the risk..
It seems the words he says don't please him, but it's a truth he has had to accept.
Gregory Darvault approaches Felix and Jerome with a still as friendly and open smile. He mostly addresses his childe but his look and body language integrate Felix into it.(Gregory) Ah, how interesting. What are your words on the issue, Jerome? Jerome gives a little sigh, and he explains to his sire, in a very calm tone. (Jerome) Reason asks me to consider execution as the only viable option. But recently the Prince has shown a certain degree of mercy, calling a blood hunt on a Kindred and letting her flee the city. The Primogen nods, remembering, but he objects.(Gregory) Miss Vanderstree doesn't want him to survive. (Jerome) Don't they have a bond? (Gregory) They do, which is why she said she wants him to live. Clearly this makes perfect sense to the Elder but Jerome's interrogative look to him and to Felix just show he's not that good with expression skills.Doctor faces again Nyx fully. He acts very relaxed.- Nyx, spies:
(Docteur) If he's bond we can't break it, even with the strongest blood. Eventually it wears off... If he's got a blood hunt you just need to follow wherever he'll hide, outside of the city.
The Nosferatu Primogen doesn't seen to be fully more convinced than that, but negotiating for the Setites not to participate in the hunt seems doable. If the Lasombra hides in the suburbs, and if he knows someone negotiated his life, despite the official blood hunt, he might be willing to talk... With the right tools. Obviously Docteur wants him gone. Having Vonzel stay alive and in town seems to be something unacceptable for him.
Theodore leaves the room a moment, his phone in hand. Chriss (Gangrel Primogen) does the same soon after.ST POKE ELIZA ^^

| Corinna shakes her head and crosses her arms in front of her chest.- Griffin, Linguistics Latin spies:
"While I am glad for Regent Horsman stepping up to the position, as we can't be left without a Regent for a long time, I do hope that Regent Kersten is alive and well and returns shortly. This is a bad time to be accumulating problems, and with both Regent Horsman and Regent Kersten, we could get the situation back under control much faster and more efficiently." She's obviously trying her best to remain objective, with her eyes lingering on the foreign Kindred for a few moments before returning to Griffin. "This political business is a headache, isn't it? Sometimes, I'm not sure whether the benefits would outweigh the drawbacks if we were allowed to fully participate aswell... but there are others who are more capable in this subject than me. If this is how they operate, however," she gives a slight jerk of her head to the stage, "I'm taking the library over their company any night. How are we supposed to get out of this unscathed?"
The Librarian looks up to the balcony where Mikael and William are talking. She's still frowning.- OOC:
Summoning by the poke of doom is very effective!

| Gregory's word struck Felix as odd at first, but then he blinked and nodded before he looked to Jerome and whispered softly.- Jerome, Gregory, spies:
"I think he means they are bound to each other. It's like earlier, how even though I was upset with you at the time, I couldn't say anything bad about you or do anything to hurt you. Miss Vanderstree may very well actually want the individual dead, but due to the bond, she cannot say such." He then looked back to Gregory, as if to see if his line of thinking was correct.
